I’ve had YTTV since it launched and have rarely been disappointed. This deal is big pickup. I’ve never had a problem watching Michigan games or really any other CFB for that matter.
This worked great for me in Croatia for Michigan vs. Washington (minus the fact that it was 2am there) in 2021. I was just in Switzerland and was able to use the same method using the Fox Sports app to watch Michigan at Iowa.
I’ll be in Switzerland for the next two games. Recommendations for watching abroad? I had some success with a VPN on my phone last year in Croatia but the connection was inconsistent.
I'm not too concerned to hear Edwards isn't on the same level at this point. If we aren't seeing him get touches early in the season I'll be worried, but for now, hearing Corum is the most explosive back is great news. Michigan just needs another back to step up to pair with Haskins who is reliable. Once Edwards finds his gear, Michigan will legitimately have three stable backs, and it's likely that both Corum and Edwards will turn into the stars — especially as they'll be able to move Corum around and use him elsewhere in the offense.
Marcus Freeman would be my #1 choice for much of what you stated. Just seems unlikely given the fact that he's turned down coaching opportunities at OSU and MSU recently. Hoping Michigan goes after him regardless just to see what he says.
Agreed. As soon as he was hired he went after kids in Florida he already had relationships with (in hopes to put the pieces together for his first Texas class) instead of diving into the Lone Star State. That wasn't the last time he rubbed Texas HS coaches the wrong way either.
He'd do fine recruiting in Florida and could be helpful in general, so not totally against the thought of him joining the staff.
100% accurate – which is why life without Harbaugh seems likely, sooner than later. However, with the potential reality that he is still the head coach next season, it would be great to see him improve the pieces around him. If you can go out and get someone with experience and pair them with guys that are on the rise, it may help him grow and restore some of the fire he's lost. And that alone would be a vast improvement in a world where he's coaching Michigan in 2021.
I don't disagree with you at all, but I still think it may seem forced during such an uncertain year. I'm having trouble getting excited about any option right now, but that doesn't mean a guy like Campbell is not the best fit/right coach for the job, especially as "home run" hires seem very unrealistic and almost non-existent.
I'm as curious as anyone to see what Michigan does post-Harbaugh – whenever that may be – but I'm just hesitant when it comes to the idea of diving into a new era in the next few weeks.

If anything, getting some younger guys on the defensive side of the ball who have great coaching potential and could recruit across the country would be huge. I'm not sure where he falls as a recruiter, but I love the way Jim Leonhard coaches. He's not coming to Michigan, but when it's time to move on from Don Brown, I want to be impressed with who the hire is in the way I am impressed by Leonhard each year.

Something I keep thinking about is whether guys like Matt Campbell or Luke Fickell would even want to bounce to another school amidst a pandemic – even if the job and money is significantly better. Both jobs could be around next year, plus a handful of others.
In Michigan's case, losing a future top candidate elsewhere would be less than ideal, but I'm starting to think it's more likely Harbaugh stays with major staff changes. If the potential hire was more exciting (and maybe it will be) I'd feel different about the situation, but forcing a Matt Campbell hire is starting to make less sense to me.
He previously said the following about Juwan Howard's offer:
“Michigan came in late, so that situation is a little more riskier,” Williams said. “They just came in with a new coaching staff, and I would have to wait until the season starts and watch them play and I just wanted to get it over with before the season and the school year started. I sat down with my family, and we just decided Georgetown was it.”

Steve Wojciechowski would bolt for Duke as soon as Coach K left if offered the position, especially if he was successful at Michigan. You could say the same for a lot of the younger coaches when some of the true blue blood opportunities open up.
I've got Gregg Marshall high on my realistic list. Wouldn't be jumping for joy, but a solid hire.
I agree. I like the added depth and the possibility of a walk-on having the opportunity to develop and contribute down the road. The transfer trend continues to grow, so you never know where you might end up on a depth chart in the future.
