I do not want to read ONE story about Michigan football until December when Harbaugh proves as a head coach that he has SAVED his program by playing the right people who look like they have been COACHED. Most of all proving that he can lead this program to defeat the likes of programs like Washington, Wisconsin, MSU, and Ohio State. Beating Northern Illinois isn't going to cut it. Otherwise, the program is going to continue to lose millions with Harbaugh at the helm because 98% of the fanbase has lost confidence in him. Warde will then be forced to make a decision that he should have made by Thanksgiving 2020.

“I do not want to read ONE story about Michigan football until December”

Fortunately for you, that’s entirely in your hands. The best way to pursue your goal is to stay away from MGoBlog entirely. You’ll be much happier if you do, and so will the rest of us.

Wait, do you think COVID-19 came about because of Harbaugh's poor record at UM against upper-echelon teams?

Anyway, you seem incredibly unhappy with Michigan football so I'm sort of surprised you keep reading articles about the team, but I'm also not here to kink-shame.

So, I just blocked scfanblue. Clearly, they aren't having any fun in life and need more time to themselves to sort out what is important.

That, and I don't know if they've seen the typical balance sheets for the athletic department, but it would take a mammoth effort on the incompetence front for them to lose money. We are truly fortunate in that regard anyway.

So obviously, nobody is making you read anything about Michigan football.

But YOU clicked on the post that explicitly says it’s a football article. If you don’t want to read it, dont. Don’t click it. Don’t follow the link.

But it REALLY makes you seem desperate for attention when you come to an article you apparently don’t want to read just to tell everyone how you don’t want to read it. You don’t need to announce it for everyone.

Thank you SCfanblue, for a cool avatar pic and bringing together the entire mgoblog fan base together in unity in a football thread for the first time since... mid 2018 season?

The next time we get a divisive political thread, please let’s remember this frankly strange comment by SCfan.

This is one of my first comments since the 2020 season was mercifully ended. I was about as done with Harbaugh as you could be but he’s still the coach and ive had time to cool off.

I hope the team does really well and is much improved. I think it’s good he hired young coaches and if the team plays with energy & intensity I think they’ll be much better than last year. Point is: I’m not sure why you’d be upset for a season that hasn’t begun yet. There’s plenty of time to bash Harbaugh and get so heated you need blood pressure medication during September-December. Until then relax some.

scfanblue, I enjoy your posts, we're on the same page here.  I care about Blue football, but I told myself after last season's debacle against East Lansing A & M and the following apathetic denouement that I would not watch any more games until we beat tOSU or there is regime change.

Oh Brandon Brown and his “sources.” That guy is a complete joker. He pedals reactionary complaining as “journalism.” The only reason anyone reads his stuff is the fact that they are waving around the animated corpse of sports Illustrated.

Boy, no kidding. He used the word enrolled instead of enrollee and definitely instead of definitive, sigh.

But also, the Harbaugh tenure has been really annoying as a fan, I mean what's with all the secretive BS when it hasn't done jack shit to help on the field. He has made it so un-fun to follow the team, its depressing.

Meh. To me that's one of those no win coaching situatinos.

Have a bad  year: "You suck. "

Go quiet and focus on the team after a bad year: "You suck for being quiet. "

Go all out and be in front of everyone after a bad year: "You suck. Why are you spending so much time being a media guy and not coaching your players? "

He basically has the charm of Belichick/Saban at this point, but without an ounce of their success.

But, at one point he did.  He's proven to turn around several programs.  He did make it to a Super Bowl and a Rose Bowl after all.  Unfortunately he's been trending downward ever since The Game in '18, and fast and far.
