The fact the game was played is odd to me.  The outcome was detimned with not allowing real QBs to play.  The only benefit is $.  The number of things that could have gone wrong (but didn't) far outweighted the benefits.  Money would still have been obtained on Monday, or Tuesday after the Steelers were moved for a 4th time.

Agree 100%.  I felt like week 1 was Gattis getting things rolling.  This week looked like last year.  It's nice to have a stud back, but the WRs are where the mismatches are.  

Superflex will be the new PPR in a few years.  It makes QBs more valuable.  Something is not quite right when the most important position in the game keeps loosing (relative) value.

Why does the NCAA consult the coach of the departing school about the transfer?  I feel like they should really be evaluating if he is clinically depressed and make sure he is on the right path to success.  This should be done by a doctor with the proper certifications.  I don't understand what the old coach or any position changes have to do with this evaluation.

Hey - slightly different but along the same lines.

I am also on the hunt for some raw data.  From what I can tell around 2014 most of the open APIs that were available to grab this data closed up.  ESPN discontinued its API and I believe agreed to some sort of deal with Sports Radar.  Sports Radar has everything I want but they will not give me access.  

This market seems ripe for a disrupter for decentralization.  Make an open API and just charge for blocks of calls.  There are other services doing this but not play by play data.  At least not that I could find.  

Final rant - is there really more than 1 recruiting service at this time.  How many staff members does ESPN actually have dedicated to college recruiting?

No doubt winning makes the program more attractive.  I believe two 10 win seasons is winning.  Then we had 2017 recruiting class.

I really believe to start to get high 4 and 5 star guys you need to put people in the top of the draft.  

IMO Gary getting drafted top 5 is Hugely important for future highly rated recruits.  These guys want to go high in the draft. 

Take a high end defensive tackle prospect (Bresee - 2020).  Look at Bosa (x2) vs Gary.  

Michigan needs to have a Player go in the top 5 of the draft.
