Are we sure Michigan basketball has more NIL money than Nebraska basketball? Tominaga could have gone pro after last season (abroad). He likely got good rea$on$ to stay. Lots of them. We lost Dickinson.
I haven’t read a single post but I hope coach Howard and his staff are getting a ton of credit here today. A sign of a good coach is that his/her teams get better throughout the season. This team is so much better now than in November.
I agree. Ward really screwed up the Pearson situation. I can understand how Ward handled the Jim situation last year, and Backich, and Beilein (though he probably screwed those up too) but he was wrong for supporting Mel until the very end. He screwed that up badly and should have gotten fired for it.
I believe that (at least USC) came to the B1G to get away from 10pm ET kick offs. I’m guessing they’ll want to stay away from that slot as much as possible.
B1G hoops promos, with British accents, during Premier League games (on the USA Network). LOL! You’re probably right though, that’s probably where we’re headed.
I think that B1G football will be just fine, by having three games on network tv - every week. I’m not so sure about B1G basketball though. I think that not being on ESPN will cost B1G Hoops exposure and potentially ncaa bids - especially if some games get moved to Peacock or Paramount+.
I’m happy for Beilein! I hope this works out for everyone. It’s been a good day for the maize and blue. It feels like this is just the beginning thought. Let’s hope the recruiting services are right about that too.
I lived 10-12 blocks away from that eyesore for many years. I’d given up hope of it ever being repurposed/reused. It’s good for the city/area but I wonder how many of my old neighbors will get priced out of their own neighborhood now.
“All of England will go crazy”. No they won’t. Most PL fans would like to see them lose (judging by my twitter timeline). Hala Madrid! Anyone but Liverpool!
I really like the hire. A former cup winning captain who took a pay cut to join the gunners, at one of the club’s lowest points recently.
He came up at La Masia. He played for some good Everton, and Arsenal teams. He got a coaching internship under Wenger and Guardiola. I’m really excited about this move. I think it will work out.
But comparing Arteta to Henne? Please. He was a good captain and leader. He would have started for any country’s national team, except for the stacked Spanish midfield of his generation. He was a great Premier League player.
To quote Mike Tyson: “Everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the mouth.” Frost’ plan is to play the speed option in the Big Ten” we’ve seen a very similar movie before around here. RR had prior success with it too.
First question: Who wins a title first Frost or Harbaugh?
DiNardo (replies instantly and definitively) Frost. He has a plan. Harbaugh is all over the place.
Z’s limited offensively but his an elite defender. He’s starts next year. And I’m not assuming Wagner gone - yet. But if he does leave Teske starts and I see Davis as his back up.
A week or two ago he said that if can kids go to “Columbus, Ann Arbor or Eugene, Oregon; we can get some to come to Lincoln.” This is essentially the same message.
I believe John’s exact quote on defense was: “our defense can’t be worse than last year, especially at the beginning of the year.” That quote hardly fills me with confidence.
After O’Korn, we should know there is a reason they’re not starting. The coaches see them in practice every day. There’s a reason he’s the number three qb on the team.

Rubber match is tomorrow. Go blue!
What he arrested before or after the background check was concluded?

He is called the mayor for a reason.
It almost sounds like he wanted to get fired, but UCLA good in afford to do that. Crazy.
And Jett Howard?
Probably. (NBA draft .net currently has him as the 15th pick of the draft.)
Hunter says he’s coming back. Kobe hasn’t said anything yet.
His Twitter handle includes the number 77. So, he was probably born in 1977. So, yes.
I hope not. I’d rather the B1G look bad than cheer for IU or MSU.
I hope he meant it as a compliment.

I don’t know enough to know whether it’s a good or a bad idea but closing that campus would be unfortunate.
This was my first thought too!
How much is that in Pesos?

Up the Arsenal!
A couple of people posted here that the USA network (as part of the NBC deal) will probably get some games. They’re probably right.

I am not looking forward to that. Jansen I don’t mind, but Karsch? I think we could have done better.

I’ve been wondering the same thing since the USC / UCLA news came out.

Absolutely. That’s the main reason I got and keep them. You get unlimited DVR space, and you can keep those recordings for up-to 9 months.

Wow!
They said they would not do anthing about replacing the tickets before the 28th.
You're not the only one. I live in the Detroit Suburbs and I too have not yet received my tickets.
