I was in the same situation, driving home from work, The color guy calling Harbaugh classless and that he had no respect for him for running up the middle. I was surprised to hear the pbp guy defending Harbaugh, saying he had not problem with the backups getting an opportunity. The color commentator was having nothing of it and it appeared to be getting heated in the booth.

I admit I bought into the hype and really thought the offense was going to make a huge improvement. Very disappointing to really be out of the game but yet make it look like we had a chance at the end. Both turnovers were absolutely on Patterson, protect the ball it’s your job!!!
I take issue with qb's that dance around after the ball is spiked to get a couple more seconds off the clock before taking the knee. If you are in that formation and don't want the defense to come after you at the snap then it should be that the qb takes an immediate knee.
Jon Jansen was recruited as a tight end and turned out to be a pretty good tackle. I know there are others but that one sticks out to me. It's amazing what the college workout / training programs do to a high school frame.
I don't recall exactly what play it was but Weber is in front of the ref and hit, I believe, Stribling in the face. Looked like he stuck his hand inside Stribling's face mask and Stribling immediately backs up and looks to the ref and I believe the ref pats Weber's ass and nothing is called. Couldn't believe it, wasn't any less than Hill's and McDowell's penalties when we played State.
Good call there!!! He has done really well in the tougher of the divisions and if he could part ways with Cam, he could dominate the weaker division. Amazing how the LSU offense has really produced the last few weeks.
The only time I don't mind Michigan playing on Thursday night is the first night of the season. The Utah game (other than the score) was nice to end the long wait of the summer and gives the team a few extra days to get prepared for the next game.
Do you feel Brandstatter is getting any better with the broadcasts? I caught the last few minutes of last weeks game on the radio and he didn't seem as bad? I found him very hard to listen to even as recent as the first few games this season.
Exactly!!! We need to appreciate what we have going!!! I know this is a bye week and all BUT all summer we couldn't wait for the games to begin and now we are talking one, two and three seasons in the future. Let's absorb and appreciate what we have seen so far this season. We may not have have Peepers next season along with all the valued seniors we will be wishing we're still around. Let's reflect on how great the first half of the season has gone before looking seasons ahead!!! GO BLUE!!!
Once again Notre Dame road game that is at a neutral field. Don't know how they continually pull that off. You would think Syracuse would want the Carrier Dome advantage.

Did they file a false police report? I thought Ryan told his mom and she informed the press. Hard to be charged with filing a false police report when you all you did is lie to your mom. Now the authorities may have spoken to them about the incident and were lied to but that is not the same as coming in and filing a false felony police report.
It has become a daily thing with him. I think he wants Harbaugh to go after him with a tweet and love that Harbaugh is ignoring him. Maybe it is his way of getting back into Saban's good graces.
Crazy how much time these high school seniors miss of school leading up to NSD. At least now j will be able to see it at work on ESPN2 as opposed to streaming it on my phone while on the way home.
I have a hard time with some of these coaches leaving at the end of the regular season after these young men have busted their tails all season playing for them. When a chance to be a national champion is at stake I think the NCAA owes it to these young men, who are making them money hand over fist, to have the best coaching staff in place to win. A chance at a national championship is only available for four teams.
Brian Kelly had coached Cincinnati to, I believe an undefeated season, before leaving his team before the bowl game to head to Norte Dame. Cincy then got destroyed in the bowl game where the players felt that the coach just abandoned them.
any ideas for bars that may be open at 7am tomorrow, near the stadium? Do most of the establishments keep to their 11 am start time or do they open up early on game day???
I hope all the schools looking for coaches see that Durkin's defense the last few weeks haven't been that great. Don't hire him and let him work on his craft a little more.
Crazy as it is, the Indiana games seem to be the most entertaining since RichRod took over. Very thankful we won tonight but the defense and the run game HAS to step it up (oh yeah the kick coverage team as well). GO BLUE!!!
Completely heartbreaking. I can't imagine going through what the Carr family is going through as I have three children. At least the football team was able to pull out the Christmas Day game. God Bless

May have had the intent to spike the ball until Toledo did not cover the wide receiver.
That’s even a little misleading as they fouled us several times in the last two minutes. Made the free throw attempts more even.

Well let's hope he can keep them competive, especially with us having a few years off from playing them. The west division needs to get better
