I've been away for a bit and may have missed this while scanning trying to catch up. Speight is the presumed leader?

has produced a roaring debate from 8-Track lovers everywhere about whether Brazilian Morris Albert or American Idle Barry Manilow mellowed the highest and most passionate postcards from the ledge lyrics on that classic ballad that was mimed by everyone who attended the Copacabana Olympic Games that carried a transistor radio.

I hope this helps.

I enjoyed this.  I was surprised so many were down on it, but I thought it was well written and a nice summary of why I feel different about my optimism than i have in past years.

Thank you for posting.

I tried to read this at 7AM while feeding my screaming child.  It was an exercise in patience and perserverence for both of us.

Am I the only one who is tearing up a little reading that? Like I'm ready to tackle this Monday with Enthusiasm Unknown to Mankind, or something... Fumbles and earned losses be damned!

I really enjoyed reading this and feel the same way about the state of the program and where it's headed. People who are more left brain think like this, and those of us who are more creative and emotional process things differently. Posts like this get slammed by the hoards of mogobloggers who can't deal with an opinion that isn't backed by charts, graphs, and a slew of data. The point being missed is that you can take all the data in the universe and still have no idea what's about to unfold this season. Isn't the point of blogging about sports entertainment? I really enjoyed this, and I don't give a shit if you didn't. I can't wait to for Saturday to get here... Where's the "fast forward" button?!?
