If you aren’t heaping praise on this regime then a lot of these fans are ready to turn on you.. Just like in here if you have a different opinion than the regular posters they suggest being banned lol

I agree when it comes to this staff. Apparently you can love Harbaugh or your wrong. Anytime i say anything even neutral about Harbaugh or slightly positive about Dantonio morons lose their shit and downvote me just like somone will downvote this post. But Woodson? No one is gonna turn on him for saying we arent taking OSU seriously. He just wants to win and hes making it clear to this staff

I will listen to what Charles Woodson says over everyone in Schemmy Hall. That guy didn’t just talk about he performed. When the best player in Michigan history talks people should listen.

I think what he meant was pretty clear and plainly spoken.  Who here can deny that all the players, and all the coaches, state without exception, that every game is just another game?  That's what Harbaugh has been preaching, and his players have been parroting, since he arrived.

You guys are reading too much into coachspeak BS told to the media. Harbaugh and the players barely say anything of meaning to the press and that is done on purpose. It does not reflect what is being said behind the scenes or how much emphasis is being placed on the OSU game.

I really just want us to win that game. I couldn’t care less about who says what, what was emphasized and what wasn’t. Win the damn game!

I respect Woodson but what the hell does that even mean man? You need to win every game to reach the big ten championship game. We only play 12 games and you cant afford more than 1 loss. With that said im holding him to that guarentee he made

You know damn well what it means.

Bo made sure every practice there was something that was being done to prepare for The Game. Harbaugh has repeatedly said the next game is our biggest game.

Woodson is 100000% correct. Hoke was also 100000% correct saying it was the most important game on the schedule.

We will not win a B1G Championship or even a division until we can beat them. Period, end of story.

Preface: I’m not saying the players are not thinking and doing the following, but this is how hey should approach the game, for The Game to have any significance: Desire. Relentless desire to win. A perseverance demonstrated by an extra gut check and a hyper-focus. Right now....right now, in the humid summer hours, they have to realize that no effort today is good enough to beat Ohio State in November unless they work now. To be the best they have to put in the effort now to win every...single...day. Instead of just “what did I do today to improve,” it should be “what did I do to put myself in the best position to beat Meyer and the -uck nuts?” If the goal is to improve to beat OSU, then the other games will find them ready to win. Instead of one game at a time, it should be one game to dominate so that we can prepare to dominate OSU. Those games should be stepping stones to Tyson. They need to stop pretending that OSU is not the champ of our conference. They are Mike Tyson. Not just a game to focus on during that week in November. If they improve as a team, young man to young man, then they have a chance. They have to worry about The Team, because individual improvement does nothing for the Team unless they hold each other accountable. We need 85 Mo Hursts. We need 85 Jourdain Lewises. We need 85 Rashan Garys. Don’t look at your teammate as the savior and don’t look at yourself as the savior. Hold every teammate to the highest standard. Beilein’s players said they spent last summer with a mindset of winning it all. I want the players to burn every day with an effort to do things they think will hope them crush Ohio State. With anything in life, you can find extra motivation to up your game beyond just putting in work.

Remind me how well did it help Hoke exactly? But ya if we dont beat OSU we will NEVER make it to Indy. Urban is just too good to lose more than 2 games a season. We would need to win that tie breaker

FOH with that 2015 bullshit. Glasgow was hurt and the talent gap was enormous that season. The offense was actually fine until Rudock left the game and Durkin had already been packing his Old Bay and claw-crackers for College Park the two weeks prior.

We've had 13 years of excuses since 2004 and frankly I'm tired of it. Win the fucking game.

Do what John Beilein did and turn it around and BEAT YOUR RIVALS.

My last Big Ten Champions shirt is a child size medium it's been that long and I just graduated college. That should never happen at Michigan, going that long without a B1G title. If we don't win it this year, it'll officially be our worst stretch in history.

WD is right. These have been used as excuses. 13 out of 14 years is ridiculous man, yet we hear some specific out of our control reason every year why we loss. The only reason we ever lose is simple and consistent. We didn't play good enough to win, or else we would have.

Blaming a talent gap? Weird...we have more talent than msu every single year but somehow they beat us 8 out of the last 10 years and we are their 'ohio state' game. Someone should fill them in on this talent gap "reason."

And yet, "we don't care enough about the game!" IS an excuse. Far more so than "the special gameplan drawn up clearly shows the coaches cared about the game more than they let on, but the team wasn't good enough to win" which is not actually an excuse at all. Charles Woodson: "It would be really nice if Michigan beat Ohio State" would not be a remotely controversial statement. "We just aren't trying hard enough!" is what fans of every program ever say when they lose. It's silly. Yeah, I'm sure Harbaugh and Don Brown just don't care about the Ohio State game. That's been the problem, a lack of preparation and effort.
