First W in Madison in 20 years.
Win as an underdog.
Coaching adjustments.
Passing game.

I can’t complain about this. Kudos to Harbaugh n co.

It feels good to be a Michigan Wolverine.

PS: Keep the blue pants.

I was at the previous three wins in madison. sophomore year, senior year and as a young professional living in Chicago in 2001.

I've been to maybe 3 total games since.

After the game in 2001, we wanted to go to bar time at Stillwaters but didn't want to spend another night on couches of younger friends of ours who were Wisconsin students.

So we drove to stills. double parked. hung out and drove home (presumably drunk) to Chicago, leaving at 230 in the morning.

There were a couple of funky game management decisions but what a masterful performance by the D. I don’t care what injuries Wiscy had or if they’re not that good - Camp Randall has been a house of horrors and we went in there and smacked them around. Go blue!

Going for it and succeeding on those 4th downs on the opening drive sent a clear message to UW that we weren't going to be pushed around, that we were going to do what we wanted, and that they couldn't stop us. It sure set a tone that pervaded the game, except for the blip at the end of the first half.

Last year against Wisconsin at home, Michigan lost 49-11. This year, they won in Camp Randall (for first time since 2001) 38-10*. Last year, Michigan's quarterbacks went 13-26, 172 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT. This year, their quarterbacks went 18-29 for 253 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT*. Last year, Michigan ran for 47 yards on 19 carries. This year, they ran for 111 yards on 43 carries. Last year, Wisconsin ran for 341 yards on 51 carries. This year, they ran for 43 yards on 32 carries. Good shit.

Well done. Big win with some things to learn from. Happy with the aggression on 4th down and play calling put us in position to make plays (!). Night and day from last week!

Don’t know what the 2nd half of last week was.  But the coaching today was innovative, moderately risk adverse and not easy to predict.  They deserve to be praised this week.

I haven't been this impressed with our coaches in a long time. The team looked sharp in all aspects, game plan, play calling, in game adjustments and the general level of aggressiveness. I was also glad to see McCarthy getting some meaningful snaps.

That first Wisconsin TD probably worked out for the best, frustrating as it was.

That is literally one of the most well-coached games I have ever watched Michigan play. It's like in January of 2015 Harbaugh circled this date and said "that's when I break every tendency."

Cade played well.

Defense played very, very well.

They took shots downfield. Well coached game. They bludgeoned Wisconsin.

Michigan is five-0. Play the Hawaiian war chant and the theme song from the show.

 Let’s. Go. Blue.

Not gonna pick nits - that was a great coaching job today.

- The way they came out in the 3rd quarter was just amazing - especially after last week.

- Complete domination on both sides of the football

- SOOOOO organized and smart. Almost no penalties or turnovers. Really sound football.

- Distinct improvement from many players - coaching 'em up

- Intensity and passion, but smart too.

Well done. Well done.

This is my HOTTEST TAKE:

Cade is good. Our coaches are good. We should be happy to have Harbaugh.

I know all of these points will be highly controversial, given the comments I saw in the game thread at halftime

There was a lot of creativity by the coaches and seemed like they were aggressive throughout the game even with the backup QB in. Obviously helps when the opposing starting QB is knocked out but I thought this was a great team win and the offense did great against a good defense. I think we may have something here. Let’s stay with few turnovers, play clean, avoid the injury bug and see what we have at the end of the year. Lots of good play though to start the year.

Imagine what this would have looked like had we not squandered the 1st and goal at the 5, and hadn't outsmarted ourselves on the late 2nd quarter kickoff.
