This will be your thread for snowflakes and hot takes regarding the overall coaching in our game against Wisconsin.

I'm going to ask again.

Why do our QBs regress under the QB Whisperer?

Why does our Oline suck?

Why does Shea hate DPJ, Collins and Tarik?

Why does Don Brown use Jordan fucking Glasgow as a DT?

Why is Ben Mason in the game when we have a 5-star Charbonnet and Turner?

Why is Michigan Football fucking cursed?

Why do players transfer out of this program at alarming rates when they can be clear starters?

Why does this coaching staff suck?

Fire this staff. Hire Matt Campbell b/c a 2016 PSU turn around ain't happening. Reback it.

Harbaugh turned Michigan around, now he's running it into the ground. Hey, at least they scored some points at the end so all the stupid optimists can point to a reason not to fire his underperforming ass.

I stopped watching this game after the first fumble, and I don't want to watch another one until he's gone.

If there's a curse it has been placed on us by Lloyd Carr.  Payback for everyone wanting him gone.  In the 12 years since we've had a couple good seasons with few losses but those losses were pure misery.  And the other seasons were just BPONE.  We need good juju again.

I agree with most of this, especially the players leaving and why? I’m really torn on getting rid of Harbaugh because the guy can coach, he just isn’t right now so WTF? We all watched the movie of RR and Hoke and I don’t wanna see that again but I’m done watching this. Maybe and just maybe, Harbaughs pro set ground and pound isn’t all that bad when you have a qb that doesn’t have happy feet and can complete a pass over ten yds, we watched Wiscy execute it pretty well. I’m just tired right now and see a possible 6-6 season or good lord maybe worse.

I agree.

My Illusion comment was geared towards the portion of the fan base that never wants to change coaches because there isn't a "can't miss" hire ready and waiting.

Also, look at the NFL teams that have hired Saban and Kelly thinking they were "can't miss".

This is why I wasn't't 100% in love with Harbaugh from the start, college football and the NFL are 2 entirely different sports to manage.

This game felt like going into an exam after “studying” by flipping through some pages of the textbook the morning of and being surprised when you flunk. But hey you got a few questions with partial credit.

Funny how we moved the ball and put points on the board once we started targeting our ENORMOUSLY-SIZED NFL RECEIVERS. Sadly, we did so about two and a half hours too late. This staff needs to be punted into the sun.

Well, some facts to keep in mind:

1. Standing in the pocket long enough to deliver those passes looks like it got Patterson injured-- and even if it didn't, he certainly took more hits than are sustainable long term.

2. Wisconsin had two starting defensive backs ejected from the game.  Those completions were against a significantly depleted defense.

3. Wisconsin was up 35-0.  It is unreasonable to think that they were calling the same defenive plays and executing with the same focus as they were earlier in the game.

That being said, yes, it's been clear from the very beginning that they need to be willing to put the ball in harm's way in order to give the WRs the chance to make plays.

No he's right, Shea is not reading what is happening on the field.  He is indecisive and starring at one option.  Consistently missing wide open guys.

For comparison watch OSU and how quickly the QB makes the decision and gets rid of the ball.  If Shea doesn't see a guy wide open he holds the ball.  He needs to anticipate his receivers getting separation and throw the damn ball.

Fucking idiots.  2TE all day.  Wait until you're down 35 points to even bother trying to use your elite WR's.

It's incompetence on a level I can't believe is possible.

Weak, soft, scared.  They are a comprehensive embarrassment.   I really hope they choose to attempt things that work at some point soon.

1.  Pathetic and uninspiring.  Bad Oline, bad Dline, not using playmakers.  Stupid turnovers and penalties.

2.  The team is Charmin soft.  Got bullied around the field and can't even come to defend McCaffrey on a really dirty hit.

3.  No more revenge tours of making statements.  You know your team is shit if they say they need to come out and make a statement.

4.  It's going to be a rough year, but coaches need to get shit straightened out.

I shut the game off before halftime to keep what is left of my sanity. My son came home from work and showed me the back to back targeting calls from his phone. I was literally sick from the second one.

The game is already lost by this point, so why didn’t every last player defend their quarterback after that hit? I can see if you were engaged in the actual play and didn’t see what happened, but 100 other guys on that sideline who were standing there did.

Had this been a college hockey game, the team would have cleared the bench and settled that on the ice - and then gone into the crowd to shut up the people who were booing against it being a targeting penalty - even at an away game.

Let the third stringers play against Rutgers because your starters all had to sit for a few quarters next week from being ejected from the game. FFS, Dylan’s concussion might be so severe that he doesn’t pass the concussion protocol and make it back this season.

That would have at least made “a statement”.

Just kidding about the excessive violence.

Kind of...

Throw. The ball. To Nico. Motherfucking Collins.

Honestly how hard is that?? Substitute Tarik Black in the sentence above and I’ll stand by it. DPJ if he’s healthy. Idk why they’re overthinking things, but it’s really just that simple. I hope they learned something in the 4th quarter.

Guys, this is over.  He’s had five years to produce a great qb and hasn’t.  Yeah the defense sucked, but at least Don Brown usually produces at top 5 unit.  Harbaugh hasn’t done that once in five years.  He’s an offensive minded coach who’s offense is fucking terrible.  He’s noted for coaching great TE and OL, well guess what, the best position on offense is WR.  It’s over.  Whether it officially ends after next season or whenever, it’s done now.

DB's defense had numerous opportunities to end the game in '16 and didn't.  The stats look good because he overwhelms bad teams.

MSU doesn't have a pulse on O.  They like to pretend it's 1983, like UM does.  That's why they're always such close games. Both teams are running into the same wall to prove they are man enough to out execute the other.
