Wisconsin chancellor supposedly negotiated the deal between M and BIG

Rumor has it the  Chancelor of Wisconsin played a big role in both parties coming to terms.
Supposedly after a heated head of universities call yesterday.
She is apparently a major bad ass.  Her background is in law, evidentiary law , athletics etc.
Apparently she made quite an impression on all involved.

That’s all I know.

I have a feeling we will hear more with patience. But as every older person tries to tell every young man, backing down isn't always a sign of weakness or a sign you didn't win. It's sometimes a sign that moving on is better.

And really, if the headlines moving forward are back to "wow this team is awesome" that's a good thing.

You eliminate risk of the unknown.

You see this all the time in law, especially with criminal cases. Family and friends of an accused often suggest fighting against prosecutorial injustice by going to trial, but it's also not their ass on the line in the event a jury renders a verdict that isn't in line with their reasoning. You have to take extra care to make sure the client is making the best decision for them. Plea bargains occur for previously that reason. Risk and cost elimination for both sides.

Came from a personal source close to harbaugh.  Check out her background. Seems credible to me. If you don’t like it sorry, but this person has been spot on.

when I told him I thought this might mean harbaugh leaving he said “ no way, if anything this will fuel him to beat them over and over and over again”.

He’s known Jim since Pioneer. That’s all I got.

Drink water. When you are no longer thirsty, drink more water.

I’ve had kidney stones 3 times. I finally started hydrating properly and haven’t had another for 15 years.
(Another tip, don’t eat a 2.5 pound jar of cashews in a week. I’m convinced that is what got me last time.)

I got put on the table this spring to get a ureteroplasty. A pair of lithrotirpsies and some misbehaving stones got me to that point.

I go under, the surgeon tips me over to make sure I still need the procedure. Strictly pro forma. Except....... I pass the test. Most surprisingly. Doc then passes thru me the largest gauge tube he has thru my ureter. No problem. Then he convenes a conference call with other docs to discuss my case. In the end he declines to do the procedure. On the table for more than 3 hours and no procedure.

Post-op he tells me this is a 1 in 100 occurrence. But it gets weirder.

By the end of the summer the scar tissue is basically gone.

Thank you!

I actually have little interest in her or her background or how morally reprehensible her posterior is.

But I do love the idea of cold, calculating Jim Harbaugh setting his jaw, and today being the first step in prolonged, determined football-assault upon all who have displayed such malice this last month.

Ok, cool hook em or something….this “rumor” is interesting, but I don’t think it’s out of line to ask for some details.  What is the connection?  Why was this person tapped in as the mediator?  If it was a mediation, what concessions did UM extract for capitulating?  Make it make sense, but very much unironically.

I'm sure she is great and if she was a voice of reason, fantastic. I'm also sure Luke Fickell was part of the chorus of coaches calling this the worst thing ever. I'm also sure that even if that is Jim's attitude, it is only matter of time before some other small "violation" molehill turns into a mountain.

both parties coming to terms.

So what were the terms that the conference yielded on? That next time it fucks Michigan it'll be polite and use some lube?
