Who Wins the Heisman Now?

Not Stroud after today.

Probably not Henson Hooker because of getting stomped by USC (not that USC) and unfortunately ending his season that game.

Does Blake get it even though he didn’t play today?  He is still the best player on the second best team in the country (and I think we hang with Georgia). Maybe if he plays next Saturday he can lock it up.

Williams makes a ton of sense. It’s just funny/sad it took Hooker blown ACL/beating, Corum banging his knee, and us destroying the Buckeyes for him to likely jump up the board practically overnight.

It would be funny to see Stroud get invited to NYC knowing full well he's not going to win it.  Desmond would have to think of some new material for him after last year.

Caleb Williams, but he wins it by default. Blake wins it if he’s healthy today, but it’s fine. Michigan is a better team and in better position to win the ultimate prize. USC is going to get rolled in the semis against Georgia.

That said, if Blake can go next weekend and he produces the proverbial Heisman moment, and if USC loses the PAC-12 title, Blake can still win.

Heisman is for the best football player in the country, so while I know I should give a lot of consideration to a guy who can convert from wide receiver to db in a single off-season and excel at it, I'm still voting for Olu!

I think there's a decent chance Michigan played Corum out of a Heisman today. The whole country was saying "it looks like corum is literally their entire offense", and then 45 pts and the most rushing yards since Biakabutuka later and it turns out that might not be the case.

Caleb Williams has become the media darling after tonight's performance against another media darling in Notre Dame.  I expect Caleb Williams for Heisman odds to be -300 or lower after today.

Stroud still had a decent day, just not good enough to win. Corum unfortunately may be out unless he comes back and does something next week.

But… has every heisman candidate been perfect every game throughout history?
