What Has Been Your Favorite Game Of This Season (So Far)

I'm sure the next 4 will be everyone's top 4...but I'm curious, to this point in the season, what has been your favorite Michigan Football game of 2023?

Speaking of party. This was Barnett’s quote after their game this past weekend.

"Well, Indiana's known for getting signs, in-game, the correct way," Barnett said, while grinning ear to ear. "I mean, in the game, if you're over there signaling, I'm looking to the sideline [and] I can decipher what you're doing — that's fair. Other stuff isn't fair. So, whenever we play Indiana, that's what we've got to do. If you go back to last year, if you look at last year's game, you will see the same thing. Because, they're elite at doing that. Some people become elite by other measures."

Hmm.

MSU game in East lansing was the most focused I thought I saw the team so far this year. But to be honest, this has felt like a 1 game season since the summer. It’s honestly felt like an expansion pack to last season. Just tried to soak up every moment of it but the climax is obviously to come.

This is also my answer!  It didn't look good at the moment, but when we finally got a chance to breath and realized what we just saw...  How absolutely beautiful was that?  No respect to Frames' offense shown.  None.  Zero.  Both middle fingers.

I love that more each time I think about it.

I was a college JR and a guest of a few Sparty fans from my HS in 1983. Great game, crappy weather (rain and cool) but the fans were cool. After the game, went with my friends to some parties on MSU campus and enjoyed the coeds being around (they definitely had that going for them).

Dicktonio totally ruined this rivalry and must be exorcized. Hopefully Matt Campbell or Lance L from Kansas brings this rivalry back to a bit more classiness.

Last 2 games. One was a bullying of a legit excellent defense, the next was a win over a good, motivated team even when we didn’t play our best. Very satisfying. Now, hoping for a thorough ass whipping of OSU, which would definitely be my favorite.

This last one, win 1000 with 'The Game' on the horizon. All the previous ones are 'in play' I guess, but they are in the rearview mirror. With the Maryland win, the rest of them are big time games.

Great question! Penn State was the most satisfying for sure, but not necessarily the most enjoyable so I can't put it as my favorite. I'd say Nebraska for me. I have a newborn and that was my son's first win!

MSU. I loved being there to take over their stadium. It was gorgeous all day, the fans I interacted with were actually friendly, and while it's true there was a dictator who wiped out 6 million of my people on the scoreboard, that was before I went in the stadium so I didn't know about it until later.

Defeating Penn State has been my favorite game so far.  Why?....

Because UM ran the ball 32 TIMES IN A ROW in the 2nd half to win the game. PSU had the best run D in the country, and the game was at Penn State.  Yet UM still played the kind of football that UM has been known for since the late 1960s....RUN THE GOD DAMN BALL!!!

MSU was the most fun during the game.  I was there, the stadium takeover was a blast, and we got to move down to the 4th or 5th row for the Orji drive at the end.

PSU was the most satisfying win after the fact, but it did not feel "fun" while it was happening.  My pulse was racing the entire time, and my 140 lb Great Dane was lying on top of me concerned (probably convinced I was about to have a heart attack 😅).

The 1,000th win at Maryland, because I was there and we Michigan fans took over the place so much that their head coach commented on it.

Indiana, but only because it was the first game I've ever taken my sons to. It was cold and wet but they loved every minute, which made me really happy. We were planning to bring my daughter (the youngest) as well, but left her with family when we realized the weather. Hopefully we'll be back with the kids before too long to see another!

Like a lot of you probably the MSU game.

Hate them so much.

And it's weird because i grew up (1965) being ok with Sparty, they were my 2nd favorite team.
and not really in a little brother sort of way but just AS a brother and member of the michigan family.  Back in the 70s & 80s it was Notre Dame that you really hated as a #2 rivalry.

But then Dantonio (& Rich Rod but I think anyone was a bit doomed) happened and the "family" rivalry turned dark.  MSU got resentful, tribal, and violent in both attitude and on the field.
Maybe those feelings were always there under the surface, living in the shadow of michigan's arrogance and it took winning to finally reveal the hate that had festered.
Either way, Dantonio and his culture lanced that boil and we've had to deal with the hot pus ever since.

It kind of sucks because it was my favorite win, but they only scored 49 instead of 149.
I hate Sparty even more for making me feel this way.

PSU -- road win against a legit opponent under the most adverse of circumstances. made worse because the situation was planned and executed to be as adverse as possible. And yet, Michigan prevailed.

It brings to mind the words of Ufer.....after a fashion anyway.....

The Big Ten came to bury Michigan, shunning the Maize and Blue.

Harsh words were said, no prayers were read, certainly no one cried.

But as he went to close the coffin, Petitti saw no Michigan Man inside

I came back for the UNLV game and went with a good friend who was my roommate first year in A2 who has great season tix.  Michigan played well that game, with JJ throwing dimes. UNLV is now 9 & 2.  The game with MSU was such a dominating win in a rivalry game that I think that game was Michigan's best so far this year and my favorite on tv.

1. MSU 49-0. It was after they "debated" whether to play us because of fear of injuries when they were the usual Narduzzi A-holes minus a win.

2. In hindsight, Nebraska. We "scouted" them as if 45-7 (late TD to keep their non-shutout streak alive since the 1996 loss by Scott Frost at ASU). Rhule is dickless, otherwise I'd call him a penis. Glad they folded and will miss a bowl if Iowa suffocates them as expected.

3. Boa constrictor win over Rutgers after they scored 1 minute into game and nothing after that. Schiano's halftime interview that will be used against him for eternity.

4. Win over Frames. Fires OD. Another empty 10-2 season without a signature win.
