yesterday i floated the opinion that as soon as 1201's account got tubed, mineral king suddenly started posting. they share a similarity in their posts that's hard to describe, but they do. so i make a joke about '1201' babies in a thread that mineral king started and is posting all over, and as i write this i have been negged. coincidence?
so i put it to you, mgobloggers, is there a commonality between 1201 and mineral king? please opine....

As usual, "who is going?" really means "I am going!" Chances are that as with most seasons, I won't be at any games this year. Not less of a fan, though.
I would give anything to be at The Game (and on South U afterwards) if we finally beat OSU, I'd also rather die than go if we lose so that one's a tough decision.
I’m with you. After last year, I told my Buckeye loving son in law he could have my ticket to the game but if this is the game we finally do it, I’ll hate myself.

This is an exciting season for me - in a month I'm moving the family back to Madison WI after a couple years in Austin TX. Good season to be moving back to the midwest - ton of good home games plus the game in Madison.

My consecutive home games attended streak is probably ending. I don't have the money for 2 rivalry games and the pointless ND game in the middle of the season. That one is probably where it'll end.

While I'm not sure that my own consecutive home-game streak exceeds yours (it's only at a modest 31 games right now as since mid-1994 I've only missed 2008 Wisconsin and 2014 Minnesota), I'd have to guess there's quite a few on the board who have longer streaks and might be worthy of the "Devotee" belt.

Start a go fund me page, may be you will get the funds to keep your streak alive. If I lived closer, I would get season tickets again before it becomes impossible! I had student tickets in the early to mid 80s but had to sell some due to work. In fall of '85 through '89 I had season tickets until my job moved me to OKC.
OSU when it's at home, always. Just makes sense with it being the same weekend as Thanksgiving.
May try to squeeze in another game but might not be able to.

i would love to do that. although, i might have a few kids in tow. i wouldn't want to impose but i have enjoyed meeting some of the other mgobloggers very much and you would be at the top of the list of guys i'd love to shake hands with. as the season gets closer and if you're serious, mention again and i'm sure there are ways to discretely swap info as i have done with a few of the others.
Kids are fine, but you might want to get them out of there before it gets too wild. Loud music, bars, and mostly 16-55. If they are young, I wouldn’t do it.
we'd just stop by before the game. i suspect there will be a time in my life when i can hang around after the games, but that time isn't now.
