well, I'm loving this NEB vs NW game. It's B1G ten football. I feel torn about who I want to win. I usually pull for NW b/c I pity them and appreciate their consistent effort even though they usually suck.
The reasons for enjoying the failures of NEB are pretty well known. Sort of the arrogant newcomer. Scott Frost. And of course the 97 Championship that is not shared but is shared.
But I've kinda come to like NEB. Their fans have influenced me. They are pretty mad crazy for their football and just want to celebrate football with other people. But their teams has gone to shit the last many years. They are sort of the new NW, but their fans are still rabid.
I've talked myself into it. I think NEB is now the top team in my B1G list when-the-game-doesn't-impact-Michigan

Thompson reminded me of Fran Tarkenton on that drive. Pretty good game so far from what I can tell tuning in late. Weird to see the Huskers playing without Adrian Martinez at QB. Was stunned to just read he is playing another year of college football at KSU. Today's little taste has me looking forward to next Saturday.
