Northwestern gets lucky after total turtle after 13 -14 runs in a row.  Couple good bounces and tips.  As bad as the onside kick call was, feel bad for the Huskers and even Frost.  Trying not to lose not always a winning strategy though it was today.

Fair enough. Maybe you are right. Never cared for Coach Frost after his "we out hit them" in UCF's one sided loss to Michigan. Just hate to see a guy make such a dumb coaching decision that totally flipped momentum and the game in a way that might cost him his dream job at his alma mater.  Can't remember seeing a worse coaching decision in game given the context.  Don't have anything against Husker fans though, they have been through a lot.

Lolololol. Scott frost…you ruined this game for your team with that stupid onside kick nice job numb nuts.

I will never feel bad about a Scott frost loss.

This season is over for NB before it's even started. Sad to be done in Week 0. I actually feel the tiniest bit of sad for NB fans... must be the Detroit Lions fan in me.

Let the coaching search In Lincoln begin.

I’m not even sure that beating Oklahoma would save Frost now. He’s a dead man walking, and he knows it.

I think his buyout is halved on October 1st. He’s “relieved of his duties” first thing in the morning of October 2nd.

UConn looking better than expected. If they win this, it would be a big enough upset. Then if they don't get embarrassed vs Syracuse, it could end up making our creampuff non-con look just a touch less creamy-puffy.

One final thought while enjoying the deliciousness of another Scott Frost loss...

Northwestern paved them. The Wildcats held a 2-to-1 advantage on the ground and moved the chains quite a few times just running right at them. NW had a 35-minute to 25-minute advantage in T.O.P. Northwestern won the turnover battle +2 (maybe +2.5 if you count the onside attempt). Not really a fluke.

Ha!

Huskers travel all the way across the Atlantic and get their lunch money taken away by the Big Ten Chess Club.

heh.

Give Frost a fifteen year extension. He and Janklin are the conference clowns of comic relief.

.Nebraska has many things contributing to their defeat.

One thing is very clear - Pat Fitzgerald is a pretty good FB coach - especially in game strategy / tactics

A new thread for the late afternoon games. With this one nearing 400 posts and some of the post-game dissection of Nebraska Football and Frost still ongoing here, time for a clean slate for discussion of other games.

(edit: not locking this thread, it'll remain open for those who want to continue posting your thoughts on the Northwestern upset win over the corn cob people.
