Weather Looks Great for Spring Game; Are You Going?
The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies and temps in the mid-50s at noon next Saturday. It'll feel like a beautiful day in mid-October.
Who's going? I'm bringing my baby granddaughter, who is 11 months old and will be making the first of MANY trips to the Big House. Wearing as much National Championship swag as I can possibly fit on my body. Can't wait!

Your granddaughter is undefeated at football! May she ever be so.

We are heading that way. It sounds like some of the guys we tailgate with are going also. It should be a beautiful day. Not a full tailgate but more like a picnic. Beer and sammies.
Can't wait
I read this and imagined that you'll be partying with Sammy Sosa, Sammy Davis Jr., and Sammy "The Bull" Gravano. Tell me this is true...
Sammy Hagar is sad for being left out of your group.
Play it again, Sherrone.
He was going to go, but couldn't drive 55. So, now he's being booked down at the police station.
Slingin' Sammy Baugh is joining us. It'll be a heavenly tailgate.

Sorry, not attending this year. It was a ritual for me and the guys to go every year back in the late seventies and eighties.
Let the official Coach Sherrone Moore era begin 👍🏈!!
Go Blue!!! Defending 🏆
Pull it down!

It s great that for those that can’t make it, that it’s on national tv. That being said, it’ll definitely be great to pack the Big House. We’re national champs and it’s free, no excuses people!
Am planning to go. I'll be checking with my tailgate buddies to see if they are going in a few days. It does look like jacket weather as opposed to shorts and a t-shirt (Maize and Blue of course). It will be a matter of how much cloudiness and wind we'll have on Saturday.
Hopefully, we'll see more than 50,000 fans show up this year.
Oh, maybe we'll make the trip! I was kinda thinking that we'd try to get tickets to see the Philadelphia Orchestra at Hill that night (side note- their tuba player, Carol Jantsch, is a UMich grad), so that would make for a pretty lovely Ann Arbor day.
user name checks
I can't make because of dress rehearsal with the Philadelphia Orchestra on campus. Singing Brahms Requiem on Sunday afternoon. Philadelphia, Hill Aud, Yannick Nezet-Seguin might be the apex of my UMS career.
scanner: congrats and good luck with the singing gig👍
I know you will be a-maizing 🤩
Oh man, Scanner, that's so cool! Soak it up.
Isn't it being televised on Fox? That's good enough.
I'm wondering what kind of agreements they needed to get this done. I didn't watch the OSU game.
taking my 9 year-old son! (his first time was Bowling Green. no picks this time pls)
There will be picks but hopefully some competitions too
I will be attending the FOX broadcast on my HD TV.
Hoping we look better than the Buckeye QB's in the Spring and concerned if everything coming out of the rumor mill in camp on our QB situation is plain to see in the scrimmage.
I do not want to see a banged up Tuttle come out as our Obi-Wan only hope. Maybe a Portal QB/WR that played together might be swayed to join and be folded into the offense in time.
9-3 and a Playoff appearance seems to be the boards floor of expectation with a 10-2 and a win on the road in Ohio the board median and anything better to exceed.
9-3 or better gets done with healing Tuttle, Orji throws or a Spring Portal QB?
Please talk me into this.
9-3 seems legit with losses to Texas, Penn State and OSU if there is a no show at QB.
I'm putting money on a one or two loss schedule going into the playoffs, but that is why they play the games.
If JJ were back we'd all be smiling. This year's model may be very good. Hoping for some affirmation.
Penn St in the Big Ten championship game?
Um. Penn state is off the schedule
Yeah, it sucks going into Columbus and losing but what did you expect, we rested our starters because we had already clinched a birth in the title game against Penn State?
Face palm...Oregon... not Penn State.
With adequate QB play (low turnovers) Michigan is likely a one or two loss team going into a playoff.
Something has changed on the site...images aren't uploading.
Pretty sure there will be tackling and tough line play next Saturday
Are they selling tickets or is it free entry?
It's usually free.
Totally free and sit anywhere you want.
I’ll be down there
Going with my 13 year old, who became a huge M fan this last season while making it to his first home game (Purdue) and the Big 10 championship with me. He has been to the spring game with me before, but he was pretty little then.
What experiences are not to be missed (that aren't the same as typical game days)?
Not planning on going. Going to softball on Friday night.
Looking forward to it. I was at Michigan Stadium in 1998 on a beautiful spring day to celebrate the '97 National 🏆 Champions. No reason to skip this one.
I’ll be up the next weekend for the draft and some other A2 fun… just waiting for a reason to go to the spring game and make it 2 weeekends in a row. If there was a signing or something that would be great
“The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies and temps in the mid-50s at noon next Saturday”
Lies. The weather at Michigan spring games is always cloudy, low 40s, with blustery winds.
Good Sunday Afternoon, National Champions....
I won't be going, but I want to add my welcome to the Sherrone Moore era. May we continue to plow teams on offense and dominate on defense!
Go Blue!! (But also Go Maize, for this game!!)
Let the Orji begin
Going for the game and staying in town that night then running the 5k in the AM.
Also coming to town for the 5k and the Spring Game is a nice bonus.
Hopefully will be going. Going to keep an eye on the forecast and decide later this week. I always like to try and make the spring game. A visit to the stadium in April gets me thru the summer until I can be back in my seats for the opener.
The problem, as I see it, is that all eyes will be on Alex Orji. I am really pulling for him, but if he hits his throws, it may not mean much. If he misses them, it could be very meaningful. I don't see much upside for the game's impact on perceptions.
OTOH, everybody have fun!
I got plans to take all of my staff out for drinks and dinner (on me) next Saturday
I do miss living 1-2 hours away from A2 and just taking a day trip to the spring game and having some drinks at the Jug afterwards
April 15th, 2024 at 12:36 AM ^
I’ll join you…. Round of drinks on me 🤩😎😉
If I lived closer, I would go!
planning on going to one of the son's spring game.

I wont be going but I'll be hear to upvote the countless complaints about our QBs!!!

We were in Ann Arbor last weekend and bought "arrogant" merch including hat saying Michigan Beat Everyone. Live in North Phoenix/Scottsdale area (Cave Creek). So many positive comments about Michigan and Harbaugh just going places today in AZ. The love is real from non-OSU/Ohio people, at least ostensiblu
