The year the NCAA was broken apart and Diminished. 

The year the Alabama Crimson Tide dynasty came to an end.

Can you imagine sitting in your seat waiting on tip off, wondering who was going to be coming in to sit next to you.  You're there, thinking 'man, I hope it isn't some guy that needs two tickets', and then Denard and Roy excuse their way past the other seats and say 'here we are' right next to you.  DRob looks at you and says 'Hey, man, how's it going'...

Sure hope so. The local media down here in Atlanta has been declaring this a victory for Alabama since the day the matchups were announced, and in several cases have said the game won’t even be close. 

There was even one radio host (can’t remember his name) who said on Saturday that “For any Falcons fan who wants JJ McCarthy drafted as their QB next year, go take a long walk off a short bridge.” 

Man, that fucking pissed me off, and just makes me want to win this even more. So many folks down here are still of the outdated “Ooooh Big Ten is too big and slow for SEC speed, we play big boy football and you guys are the JV squad.” mindset.

After what the B1G had the balls to do to Michigan, and the NFL had the balls to do to the Detroit Lions, I'm having trouble believing the NCAA and CFP committee aren't going to pull out all the stops to "prove they were right."
