We all pulling for LSU now?

So Kum bay yah now that the wicked witch from Columbus is out, I can’t see them pulling for Clemson. Or are they jealous of Joe Burrow? I know I’ll be pulling for LSU. I’m not sure anybody outside of Clemson will be rooting for them. Not out of hatred necessarily ( cough cough ..Buckeye fan..) but Ed Orgeron winning a national title would give every program with a quirky coach some hope (Harbaugh). Stadium will be 70% LSU fans for title game.

I honestly don’t care who wins. Now that OSU is out of the picture, whoever wins is irrelevant to me. All I want is a good, close game. So many title games have been total snoozefests and I’m afraid LSU is going to do to Clemson what it’s done to literally everyone else.

I don’t care if LSU wins, but please just let it be a close, entertaining game.

I’m pulling for an investigation into OSU and other playoff teams. I’m also pulling for an expanded playoff to 8 teams.

I actually hope Clemson wins so that this farce of being a competitive sport becomes increasingly apparent with only 6 teams winning the NC over 13 years.

One of the lesser implications relates to recruiting imprint.  UM is never going to pull recruits out of the Bayou.  So basically a LSU Naty would have little effect on recruiting battles.

In the same vein, Helton's confirmation at USC, along with Chip Kelly's treading water at UCLA, leave CA recruits open to leaving the state for better programs.

Now if UM can beat Washington (minus Petersen & Eason), that would give UM/JH a big boost in West Coast recruiting.

For the first time in my rooting life, I can honestly say I'm good with any possible outcome.

Clemson winning 3 out of 4 titles would be an amazing accomplishment, and LSU has impressed so much this year, that it only seems natural that they win it all. For years, people wondered what LSU would be like with a legit NFL QB. Well, now we know.

For college football fans, this is as good as it gets.

Damn straight. While not there yet (because I am thankful to them for beating Bama twice), they are rapidly approaching the annoyance level. Starting to get sick of seeing them in the title game. LSU all the way. I have always liked LSU.

I'm hoping for a good game and to see if someone can put some friction on LSU's offense, or to see LSU prove it truly is unstoppable.

Hell no.

I have nothing against LSU but I've gotta admit I've come to like Clemson. They've been completely dominant yet somehow still seem to end up underdogs every year. They've knocked Bama off multiple times and they make Ohio State their bitch, and I've gotta say it's really nice that those bastards get to experience what that feels like. Won't be upset if LSU takes it though.

Yes.  Its time for Clemson to be done.  Ogernon has been around a long time and deserves a win.  The tragic plane crash was also devastating and a win could help to heal at least a little.

I'm ok with either at this point.  I've always liked the state of Lousiana and LSU so they would be my first choice out of the four playoff teams.  But I cant hate Clemson either after knocking out OSU (again).  Really just excited about this matchup, should be a great game.

Hoping LSU wins just because of Coach O.  After not getting the USC job when he filled in and seemed to have the support of the team, to then taking over LSU after they made it pretty clear they wanted Herman, it is kind of hard to root against him, especially when he's up against that smug SOB in Dabo.  Idk, something about the coach of LSU having an incredibly thick Cajun accent is really kind of a cool thing.  He kind of reminds me of Farmer Fran from The Waterboy.
