Waaay OT: Wifey gifts for Valentines Day

So i thought with a slow day this would be a good thing to discuss. Last year i bought my wife a vacation package to Berchtesgaden. What a grand place that was. I went with her luckily. I was a little afraid she would choose my boss haha. Looking for an idea for this year. My wife usually makes me a nice rack of lamb with some cheese fondue, that is my favorite dish and she hates making it so once a year she makes it. What is the best gift you have ever gotten / received? What are some good ideas for this year friends?

just so I can disappoint everyone.

My wife is pretty vain (shocker, I know), so I usually get her some sort of beauty treatment, spa package, or laser face thing.  This year I bought her 20 units of Botox.  And since she turns 40 this summer, I'll probably be buying more then.  Or the tummy tuck that she's been asking for since 1999.

1. You bought your wife a trip to Germany last year and are looking for ideas from the board for this year.

2. You think you're wife might prefer travelling internationally with your boss instead of you.

  • If Darker Blue or Hatter read this thread I'm pretty sure they'll comment on this "siutation" (NTTAWWT)

3. Your wife makes lamb & cheese fondue (that's an odd combo IMO) for Valentine's day even though she hates it.

  • Might want to consider having a meal you BOTH like.  I mean it's Valentine's day, not your birthday bro.  Although this might explain somewhat your travel concerns.....

To answer your last question though I got my wife a glass rose (she loves flowers and it's really pretty) and the biggest damn teddy bear I could find (she loves stuffed toys).  And then we're having dinner that night at a nice resturant in downtown Cleveland so she doesnt have to cook and can get dressed up for the night.

No disrespkt T2, but I dare say you set the V-day gift giving bar WAY too fucking high for yourself.  What happens in 2025???  A lunar landing for two?

I got my wife a dozen roses last week for no reason at all.  She was both surprised and appreciative.

Oh come on.  I know I'm new but I sure as hell don't care about being the first to respond to a new thread.  I've upvoted every one of your posts and anyone else who calls out the loser.   It's pretty obvious that he/she has several accounts but that doesn't mean every new poster is that moron.
