Team 101

Too many turnovers in the defensive zone.  It would have been worse if Barzo hadn't played a great game.  On the other end too many shots that were fieldable by a good goalie and not enough FYS mistakes to take advantage of.

If we get another chance at them we need to take them down.

We really needed a split this weekend.  Now it is an uphill battle to host the first weekend and as already said we are on the wrong side of the bubble at the moment.  Wins at Minnesota will be key to move up in PWR.

Someone please tell me we have some stud recruits coming in next year?  Besides our top line plus Hughes and Dylan Duke, this team’s talent level is not great.  Most great teams have that senior-laden line that can play defense against top units and chip in goals in key spots.  Think the Moyle line last year.  We have nothing close to that.  And if those top 5 guys move on, it’s not far fetched to think next year’s team could be as bad as our hoops squad is this year.

Michigan's now 15th in the Pairwise. The Atlantic Hockey and CCHA champs will get the 15th and 16th places in the tournament field.

Anything worse than sweeping two at Penn State (23rd in Pairwise) and two at home against Notre Dame (21st in the Pairwise) and splitting the two at Minnesota (8th in the Pairwise) means that Michigan probably would have to win the Big Ten tournament to be in the NCAA tournament.

Hockey team another one of Warde's victims. Everything the guy touches turns to shit. Forget the fact that Mel should've never been let go, Naurato should not have been the hire. Should've been Muckalt. Even Naurato knew this, which is why he let him go.
