ND challenged two calls in the first period and video review upheld both, so they got slapped with a bench minor for delay of game. Never seen that before.

Check the fine print on the back of the ticket. The closest thing I had at hand was an M basketball ticket from Crisler, which states that the Holder grants permission to use Holder's image and likeliness in recordings and photographs etc. So basically showing up means you're consenting to having your picture taken.

Lack of gravity or…

Lack of gravity or atmosphere doesn't dispel physics. Newton's Second Law (F=ma) still applies! Think about inertia; it's going to take a lot more force to start (and stop!) a Death Star than it would a snubfighter. Changing direction is acceleration, so mass (not weight) will directly affect maneuverability. Maybe that's where the Death Star analogy is apropos; once it gets going, it's nigh impossible to stop.

Actually TIEs have better…

Actually TIEs have better maneuverability. Incom XWs are shielded, carry a hyperdrive, and more heavily armed. They positively lumber compared to the Interceptor line, A-wings, etc.

I was hoping Urban was going to use the famous phrase popularized by Shaggy, "It wasn't me".

A covered receiver more than three yard from the LOS (in NCAA) when a forward pass is thrown would be penalized as ineligible receiver downfield, just like if one of the linemen wanders too far during an RPO.

I think this is heading in… I think this is heading in the right direction, though you still plan to punt. I think about dumping to clear the zone more like a QB scrambling and having to toss the ball into the dirt to avoid a sack. It's not something you plan for, it's something you have to do to avoid something even worse. Dump and chase in the opponent's zone is entirely different.

Zama was won because Scipio…

Zama was won because Scipio neutralized Hannibal's recruiting advantage. Despite all the time he spent in Italy, Hannibal never again scored the sort of program-defining victory that would allow him to swell his ranks with local croots. Scipio brought the battle to Carthage, forcing them to recall Hannibal to defend his home. At Zama, the elephants were a non-issue; it was the combined Roman and allied Numidian cavalry that ultimately turned the tide. So we need to get someone who can go into enemy territory and convince their croots to fight with us, rather than against us.

And it was the Fabian…

And it was the Fabian strategy of avoiding pitched battles that triumphed over Hannibal. Marian's reforms probably would not have helped as much as consolidation of imperium into one general, rather than having two consuls who split command on alternating days. Legend has it that the two consuls disagreed about whether to give battle at Cannae, so one consul simply waited until it was his turn to lead before walking into the now-infamous disaster.

Interesting that you chose…

Interesting that you chose Cannae for the analogy. If we're going for a battle in which a defender launches an unconventional push on the middle in a desperate attempt to encircle an advancing foe, I would have chosen the (similarly-shaped) Battle of the Bulge.

Thanks for making these. I've watched the stupid fire drill field goal a zillion times, and I just watched the Rutgers one today. I'm a glutton for punishment.

I read your posts and rely upon them for how to dress at home games. Would it be possible to incorporate some figures or maps that show some of the relevant weather? Thanks again!
