Certainly no judgment here.  I do that when there is absolutely nothing to celebrate, let alone a 7th SB win.  Something about sunshine, warm weather and boating will get me every time.
Good for him!

It always amazes me how some people react to “celebrities” doing this kind of stuff. Why is he not wearing a mask?  This is not a good look, what will I tell my kids?   GTFOH!

Is joy and celebration a part of life anymore?

The 50-some players on the Tampa Bay Bucs worked their butts off for several months, and it culminated in an NFL Championship.  Should they not enjoy their achievement?  Especially given that a fair number of them won't be Buccaneers in 2021, and the time they still have together as a 2020 team is fairly limited?

Blah certainly seems to be a joyless person. S/he may or may not be a liberal. Aristotle would understand this. You, sir, are no Aristotle.

BTW: Based on your comment I, assume you are not a liberal. Nonetheless your posting history is full of piss and vinegar. I could draw the sweeping conclusion that all non-liberals are joyless, but it'd be more appropriate to just assume that you are a prick.

IDK...

I did something I normally don't ever do but I looked at the post history and while it's fair to say that Aristotle leans right -- which is their 1st Amendment right, there's little there which is that egregious aside from a comment about Whitmer (which is far as I read and well into last year).

Perhaps, since a lot of people bitch about how divided this country is, we can fix that on our own -- certainly anyone with a 'R' or a 'D' following their name isn't gonna do it.

And that fix begins at home.  And it starts with one person and then another and then another... until we change the culture of calling people a prick, for example, just because we can.

You're right. Calling him a prick was probably over the top. +1 to you and I'll take my penalty for unnecessary roughness.

I do want to clarify, though, that I wasn't calling him a prick *because* he's a conservative. I don't care about that. I was calling him a prick because *he* said the commenter was joyless because s/he is a liberal. He has a tendency to inject politics into the board and it gets annoying to me.

And I will push back that, while nothing the he has written is "egregious", the vast majority of his posting history is purely political, either cloaked or explicit. My first run-in with him came in the "RIP RBG" thread when he logged in to post "work your magic, Mitch". Some of other greatest hits include wondering (not really, though) whether the 1/6 rioters were the same people protesting over the summer, his "Whitless" (name for Whitmer) comment, and he hasn't missed his opportunity to use the catchy phrases "woke" or "virtue signaling" when given the chance.

Maybe I just have too little tolerance for such nonsense and I need to work on it. Acceptance of our faults is the first step toward recovery, after all.

I couldn't be more offended. Think about the children. Aids!!!! Covid!!!! Black Death!!!! Let's not forget how the Russians are taking our fluids. Guys, it's time to stop worrying and love the bomb! Over bagHdad. Like a cat, tied to a stick, that's driven into frozen Tampa shit.

Edit: Inspired by Das Racist. If you haven't checked them out "hahaha joking" is funski

Probably has a pretty low tolerance considering all he eats is kale and seaweed. Guessing Gronk should’ve given him a few pointers.

Either way, no one in Tampa cares. He just won a Super Bowl. They’re probably already preparing to give him a key to the city and erect a statue of him outside Raymond James Stadium. As long as he doesn’t puke all over some five year kid or kick the mayor off the side of his boat, I think he’s at a point where he can do whatever he wants down there.

He and his whole team worked their asses off for the last 9-10 months getting on the same page with no OTAs and just won a championship. I’d say they’ve earned the right to get drunk for a day.

We've all been there (okay maybe some of us haven't) but wow, not a good look, guy is always in the spotlight, I imagine that's a lot of pressure to live with.

So my understanding from Tom Brady's health regimen is that he doesn't drink alcohol.  Not that he has never drank, or never drinks, but that like many of us he doesn't drink regularly for his health. The dude has been to 10 Super Bowls and won 7.   Even if the internet "loves drunk Tom Brady" he shouldn't be remembered for this.*   He should be remembered for being the GOAT on the field.**

*he also shouldn't be remembered for his politics.

**he probably should be remembered for snagging Gisele too. .
