Moody will always have a special place in my heart.. As I sat there and froze my ass off against Illinois, he came up clutch making it all worth it! Glad he's in the record book
February 11th, 2024 at 7:24 PM ^
Moody saved our bacon that day.
February 11th, 2024 at 8:05 PM ^
Saved our Bacon from Bret Bielema which is no easy task
February 11th, 2024 at 9:12 PM ^
Bacon, pork, gristle; all hard to keep from Bert
February 11th, 2024 at 7:27 PM ^
Oh it was cold that day. And Isaiah Gash came up clutch too.

the ride home up north after the game was quite the ride. blizzard. cars off the road right and left. only me and the county plow trucks on the highways, going past them like slalom markers in a storm.
February 11th, 2024 at 7:54 PM ^
Thankfully I went the other direction. I was south of Fort Wayne before I got feeling back in my toes.
February 11th, 2024 at 7:59 PM ^
was at the game with the twins, tickets courtesy of robf. it was wet and heavy, blizzard stuff. fortunately as a yooper, and driving a 1-ton diesel crew, i was well-equipped to make it home. the last hour or more of the drive i'm pretty sure i saw no other vehicles except for the aforementioned county road plows. passing them is easier when nobody else is on the road.

speaking of the UP , what a wild winter this year, I had snowmobile trips planned in middle January and this week to the western UP, lake gogebic area.
February 11th, 2024 at 8:31 PM ^
an el nino winter. very normal to have them in cycle. california needs the rain.
and that's after a series of really cold winters up north with temps 5-25 below average hi/lows for weeks at a time. in the long run, it all balances out.

I missed that game vs Illinois because I went instead to my dear niece's wedding in Niles MI; I was able to watch TV for only about 10 minutes of actual game action, including the final 4 minutes of the 4th quarter. Heavy wet slushy snow started in Niles about the time the wedding started, and then the drive from Niles to Kalamazoo later that night was on a sheet of ice otherwise normally known as I-94.
I remember being happy the next day when I found out that you were able to make it safely back home up north.

Wow. That was a HELL of a pass by Mahomes.
February 11th, 2024 at 7:28 PM ^
Was the play before the Mahomes pass not an illegal forward pass? It appeared he tossed it to the other guy when getting tackled.
February 11th, 2024 at 7:33 PM ^
Did everybody eat popcorn before the game or what
February 11th, 2024 at 7:33 PM ^
I remain thoroughly unimpressed with Purdy as a QB but as a magic unicorn who seemingly gets a bunch of stuff to go right for him (usually via the other team making bad plays or dumb decisions) he remains a goat.

WTF is Kelce pissed about? I’ve never seen a player bump his coach like that and not get booted from the team
February 11th, 2024 at 7:36 PM ^
Taylor playing “just the tip” only with him?
February 11th, 2024 at 7:38 PM ^
Chiefs have a great defense but all the credit goes to the two guys in every commercial
February 11th, 2024 at 7:39 PM ^
That's a BS call, he was well outside the tackle box & had a receiver right Fing there
February 11th, 2024 at 7:42 PM ^
but the throw was not past the line of scrimmage and it was a left-handed toss out of bounds, not really looking to get it to the receiver.
February 11th, 2024 at 7:44 PM ^
Line of scrimmage only matters if he's inside the tackle box. You can throw a pass with either/both hands as long as its forward.
February 11th, 2024 at 8:28 PM ^
“Right Fing there” is a bit of a stretch
February 11th, 2024 at 7:39 PM ^
Not much dynamic offense today. had one big play which was fumbled away a play later
February 11th, 2024 at 7:40 PM ^
Seemed like an overaggressive intentional grounding call on Mahohes. I've seen them get away with worse.
February 11th, 2024 at 7:42 PM ^
Pretty boring game thus far and commercials not much better 49ers with less mistakes should be up 14-0 or 17-0. Keeping it close enough for that friggin Mahomes miracle.
February 11th, 2024 at 7:44 PM ^
If it ends 3-0 is Moody MVP?
February 11th, 2024 at 7:48 PM ^
KC is sort of falling apart right now.
February 11th, 2024 at 7:49 PM ^
Wow what a play!
February 11th, 2024 at 7:53 PM ^
Bruising run game with lots of presnap frippery spiced up with trick play throwback passes that are almost-disasters in a bowl game
Us 🤝 the 49ers
February 11th, 2024 at 7:51 PM ^
that was one heck of a play. way to go, niners.
February 11th, 2024 at 7:51 PM ^
Chiefs can't stop the run, then its gonna be a blowout
February 11th, 2024 at 7:51 PM ^
All this complex pre-snap motion misdirection that Tony Romo can't shut up about looks exactly like what I've seen Jim Harbaugh and Sherrone Moore's offense do for Michigan all year.
Also, that double pass looks familiar.
February 11th, 2024 at 7:54 PM ^
now the niners have to keep mahomes off the board at the end of the half. he is one of the all-time best at those late scores.
February 11th, 2024 at 7:54 PM ^
Moody playing a perfect game. Was hoping for a 6-0 lead, but had to settle for a beautiful extra point.
February 11th, 2024 at 8:05 PM ^
MVP Moody

RFK jr with some brilliant marketing there #nopolitics
February 11th, 2024 at 8:06 PM ^
I'll stay out of politics generally but RJK blowing millions on an ad that just says his last name (because anything else about him beyond his parents is pretty awful) is hilarious and sad.
February 11th, 2024 at 8:15 PM ^
He pretty much denounces everything about big government that rule everything including the EPA, FDA, military, and corporate power. That's "pretty awful"?
