Steve Wiltfong puts in crystal ball for Donovan Peoples-Jones to Michigan
Just as the title says. Steve Wiltfong has placed a crystal ball prediction for Donovan Peoples-Jones to Michigan. Things are looking good for the Maize and Blue.

are belong to us?
A WR set of DPJ and Collins would be oh so nice!
How good are Wiltfong's balls? Once he lays his balls on the table, are they usually right? For instance, does anyone know how many times he used his balls incorrectly last year?
87.89% of the time.
He's usually reliable but he has a well-known history of changing his choice to the right pick before a recruit commits.
Don't simply look at the percent correct. Also look at how many points he gets for every prediction. When an analyst receives ~ 0 points for a correct pick, it means the analyst made the correct choice near the decision date (when it was apparent to many which school would receive the commitment).
Wiltfong..
Martin to MSU
Thomas to M
Peoples-Jones to M
I think he has 2 of three wrong..... I think we get Martin and DPJ....somehow I think Thomas goes to MSU for playing time.

The rate at which he's shooting blanks.
blue twisted steel ballz
Hugh may get that chance. (see post on suspension possibility, sorry I don't know how to link to that).
When he puts his balls on the table, I believe is is both the left and right. That's how I do it, anyway.

but in this instance he defintiely has blue balls
(ugh, painful high school memories)
His ballz are reliable performers. But even if his ballz let him down more often than not, 4/5 OSU predictors, 4/5 Staee predictors, and 4/5 Florida predictors ballzed DPJ to Michigan.
[touch wood, throw salt over left shoulder, other anti-jinx actions]
They have a tendency to bounce from left to right and he beleives they should be held every night.
Don't forget Oliver Martin who is now at #67/#10 WR per 247. Balls have been switching to us in the last week. Higher than Nico per 247 after their latest update, not composite though.
Don't be a rankings slave! Besides, we have plenty of slot types in the 2016 class, Collins is 6'5". Do want an outside WR with size, especially from right under Nick Saban's nose.
I think the point is that it would be great to get all three. Could I handle that? Yes I could.
I never said I didn't want Collins, just that we are in on another guy as well that is rising quickly.
I'm putting a CB in for Nico and the slot ninja Martin would be the perfect WR trio.
What is the selection process for The Opening? How does a guy like Oliver get invited when he was bascially an unknown at that point?
You have to camp at one of the various Opening Regionals around the country. Perform well enough, and you get invited. Its not based on stars...
I think he moved up +500 spots in this re-ranking.
throwing to DPJ and Collins would be pretty sick.

for me is Gary will be a threat to OSU on the field, I can't wait to see him terrorize them.
I learned a while back that consensus opinion doesn't always mean very much if it isn't backed up by quotes. There tends to be a herd-mentality/echo-chamber with recruiting pundits since only a handful of them are getting first-hand info.
Not saying DPJ is going to end up elsewhere, or that Wiltfong isn't credible, but Michigan was a clear leader with Gary for a long time and his comments reinforced that conception. DPJ is keeping things a lot closer to the vest.
Speaking of interesting Crystal Balls (in this case basketball), we're on a bit of a run - and now the Crystal Ball leader - for 5-star small forward Kris Wilkes from Indiana. I think he visited a few weeks ago, but I haven't heard much since then. Anyone know what that's about?

I wouldn't put stock into it. Meyer basically said he just wanted it off Indiana. It's going to be a drawn out recruitment regardless.
Everybody wins!
Like I said, out of DPJ's mouth in late March, "I want to go to Michigan". 10.5 months away from signing day, but when a Cass Tech with an offer says that it's a decent bet.
or will be he an early enrolee? I think the coaching staff would love to get him a head start if they could.
Yes he has said multiple times he wants to enroll early, so the 10.5 months in my original comment is off. He'll decide after his senior season, I would guess.
