Over here in Iowa, the game has been pre-empted on Fox by the Iowa High School state wrestling championships. Out of morbid curiosity, how full are the stands? Did M fans show up, or did they have to paint the seats maize?

It is a decent atmosphere given the circumstances. Than again pride against rivals is about all the fans or players have to care about at this point.

One factor in our poor defending is that this team has zero depth. Coaches likely are (definitely should be) emphasizing not fouling at all.

I was just replying to your timeout comment. There are plenty of reasons to be upset with Howard’s coaching, I just don’t think timeout usage is one. You use them when you need them.

You should see what the softball team did (or didn't do) today against fairly weak competition. Teams that can't get on base should not be throwing away outs the way they do by trying to play little-ball all the time.

The inconsistently of calls even within a game is puzzling. Dug was obviously fouled on his layup attempt (bodied throughout his takeoff) but no call. Doesn’t seem like an impartial whistle. Not that it matters anyway.

Pretty much crowd shifting more vocal MSU as UM fans present realize we have seen this unable to play well the last 10 min of a game story over and over again. And nothing more deflating then the careless unforced turnovers being committed by this team and leading to dunks on the other end.
