SIAP: Colin Castleton has added 23 lbs to his frame and three inches to his vertical

Found the note about Castleton tucked away in an article about Juwan's first full practice: https://www.maizenbrew.com/2019/9/25/20883005/michigan-basketball-news-juwan-howard-first-practice-recap-2019-2020

If true, that strikes me as... extremely impressive. IIRC, Nik Stauskas underwent a similar physical transformation in the spring and summer prior to his breakout sophomore season. Could be a guy to watch in JH's offense.

Saw him last Friday, still looked like a stick. Must have been insanely thin before. He is a big x Factor for for the team. Could be a heavy contributor, could be a low minutes mop up duty player.

Castleton was listed as 230 lbs last year and is listed as 235 this year.  Curious if he's up 23 lbs from 230 or up 23 lbs from 235 or, if it is some new common core math bullshit like

230 + 23 = 230 + (2+3) = 235

OMG shirtless?

Asking for a friend. And by "a friend," I mean that guy who said he was asking for those shirtless pics of the men's bball team for a friend.

All weight gain is good weight gain.

Am really looking forward to seeing what Juwan does with the team. Just a little nervous about our fanbase and how we will react if it so (shockingly!! /s) happens that there are growing pains from the transition.

Saw him and BIG TESKE on campus Monday . He looked tall but about 12 years old. But I'm old. And the older I get.....the younger these damn kids look.
