Shea Patterson attending The Game?

Why? The kid performed well considering the circumstances, has a lot of talent and would still have two years of eligibility left after sitting out a year. Considering we know first hand just how easily a season can be derailed by QB injuries taking another lottery ticket is not a bad idea.

A little twitter stalking shows that the last thing Shea "liked" was a photo that Tarik Black just posted of the new Jordan's the team got. IT's HAPPENING....maybe

You can never have too much talent especially at an important position like qb.

will likely leave after a year, especially if he plays well. I'm all in on him, kid is a stud. Would give both Peters and McCaffery a little more seasoning, and would add that extra depth safety net. I assume he would probably take the scholarship that Wilton Speight has, and would be eligible to renew.

he would be the best 2nd team QB in America. For that reason alone, if he wants to stay, no way Harbaugh cuts him loose

somebody claim Peters was like Forest Gump...
I'm a bit concerned.
Bring him in....will only bring out the best in the others...
..think Brady - Henson..
November 22nd, 2017 at 1:23 PM ^
Wait what? Why? Forest Gump was an All American.

Yeah, we have some talent, but with the way QBs have played you really don't think we could use a 5-star QB as another option? It's not like taking him would mean passing on some star left tackle.

Going home for thanksgiving? He probably isn't on the travel roster at Ole Miss so he has no reason to stay in Mississippi.

He tore his PCL in October and is done for the year.

He was until he tore his PCL. Now he's out for the season.
According to wikipedia, he was born in Toledo so I'm assuming he still has family there.
November 22nd, 2017 at 10:38 AM ^
Not right now considering he tore his PCL last month.

Speight
Peters
Patterson
McCaffery
As the playable depth chart would be within the realm of possibility.

OMG, where does it end? We better recruit nothing but QBs to protect us from being 85 plays away from not having one...

Wouldn't he be a transfer and need to sit out next year?

Make sense for them to look around and consider their options in case that happens.
