Thanks for the link as the article is spot on. Michigan should not be facing any sort of punishment prior to the completion of an investigation.

Hey, the NCAA can come down hard when it needs to and it's warranted. I remember there was a team back in the day that had extra practices or stretching of some kind, as well as a non-coaching assistant providing tips to the players which constituted coaching. Surprised they got off as light as they did and didn't get the death penalty for such an egregious violation of the rules and damage to the integrity of the game.

do I really have to /s?

Ooohhhhhh...  The author, Christopher Breiling, is going to lose his access key to the executive rest room inside the 'journalist' secret enclave...

We have come full circle now. Didn't SI start all this? Now we have SI calling out anyone reporting rumors and all the media douche bags who are just spewing nonsense.

I like the article and I am glad someone wrote it. I also like the fact that he specifically said about waiting to know if coaches knew anything about this.

Hope more articles come out like this.

From the subtitle to the article: "as well as producing a lot of clicks along the way".

Do any of the pundits, or authors, of "stuff on the web", including perspectives and speculation about this issue - actually care if they get "a lot of clicks"?

My view - many of those pundits and authors care more about clicks than the content of what they produce.

Thanks for the link...

Yes, but notice that the slimy fucker got his shots in after positioning himself as a voice of reason / restraint:

“I also heard people say that ‘Well, everyone does that.’ And Tim, no one does that," Meyer continued. "I’ve never heard of that in 40 years of being around the game."

Yeah, right.
