I loved when Chris Evans liked and retweeted all the Florida smack talk. Hopefully this is the same.

I still can't believe Purdue is already calling wins over Michigan after winning 2 (I think) Big Ten games over the last 3 years.

It has worked out for us pretty well recently when players have run their mouth. Chris Frey with the 100 days until locked in the woodshed, Florida beating the brakes off of Michigan etc....

I'd rather have a confident player than one who doesn't think they can win.

Of course, he's terribly, terribly deluded, but until Saturday, let him enjoy his confidence.

be very high, he goes and makes it juust a touch sweeter.

Frankly, I don't mind that they're excited about what they've done so far, or even about their gimmick-heavy offense.

Problem with all those fun plays, though... you actually have to run them for it to be fun.

Once they notice that their qb and ball carriers are spending a lot of time crumpled up in the backfield, they'll understand their error.

I have no problems with players being confident in their coaches and system.  That bodes well for their performance.  However, to say you're going to beat a team that has one of the top defenses in the country just shows you think like a teenager.  Oh wait, he probably is a teenager.  No harm, no foul.  Guarantee he won't be making the same claims after Saturday's game.

Their best season in the last 10 years was 7 wins (2011). In 8 of those 10 seasons they've had losing records. We've only played them twice since the start of the Hoke era:

2012: Michigan 44, Purdue 13

2011: Michigan 36, Purdue 14

Yeah, no. I just don't see it.

Not practicing too much in preparation for a Don Brown defense. Interesting strategy.
