gonna have to let Dr. Blitz & Co. respond to this on the field.

I guess Louisville didn't win against Purdue. Purdue won against Purdue
September 21st, 2017 at 4:27 PM ^
But I'm pretty sure in that game Purdue lost to Purdue. Purdue beat Purdue in the other two games.
September 21st, 2017 at 4:38 PM ^
but I think he was trying to say that former NBA player Will Perdue is the only person who can beat Purdue. Or perhaps Perdue chicken with a nasty case of food poisoning. Typical fast and loose journalism from ESPN.

I loved when Chris Evans liked and retweeted all the Florida smack talk. Hopefully this is the same.
I still can't believe Purdue is already calling wins over Michigan after winning 2 (I think) Big Ten games over the last 3 years.
September 21st, 2017 at 5:25 PM ^
I don't even bring up the win prediction. I talk about how they apparently wish they were playing OSU. Playing only Michigan is not large enough of a stage for them.

Just like the sideline to sideline comment from the Florida RB.
That Cincinnati crap was weak.
But now we're talking. This is the stuff you RT, put on lockers, etc.
I love it, great job, kid!

Good thing Don Brown is more aggressive and confident than Brohm.

It has worked out for us pretty well recently when players have run their mouth. Chris Frey with the 100 days until locked in the woodshed, Florida beating the brakes off of Michigan etc....

I'd rather have a confident player than one who doesn't think they can win.
Of course, he's terribly, terribly deluded, but until Saturday, let him enjoy his confidence.

Well, they almost beat Louisville. If that doesn't give a team confidence, what does (aside from actually beating Louisville)?
September 21st, 2017 at 4:44 PM ^
Must have been one of those "moral victories" Sparty was so proud of last season...

Based on previous smack talk this year he should be suspended for credit card fraud any day now.
September 21st, 2017 at 4:39 PM ^
be very high, he goes and makes it juust a touch sweeter.
Frankly, I don't mind that they're excited about what they've done so far, or even about their gimmick-heavy offense.
Problem with all those fun plays, though... you actually have to run them for it to be fun.
Once they notice that their qb and ball carriers are spending a lot of time crumpled up in the backfield, they'll understand their error.
September 21st, 2017 at 4:39 PM ^
I have no problems with players being confident in their coaches and system. That bodes well for their performance. However, to say you're going to beat a team that has one of the top defenses in the country just shows you think like a teenager. Oh wait, he probably is a teenager. No harm, no foul. Guarantee he won't be making the same claims after Saturday's game.
GO BLUE!!

I think he already has that down soundly.

The Florida RB was talkiing about how our defense was slow. This guy seems smarter.

the "nobody can stop us" comment is...bold before you play a defense like Michigan's.

Their best season in the last 10 years was 7 wins (2011). In 8 of those 10 seasons they've had losing records. We've only played them twice since the start of the Hoke era:
2012: Michigan 44, Purdue 13
2011: Michigan 36, Purdue 14
Yeah, no. I just don't see it.

Hahaha, best thing I've seen all day. Omar would approve. The only thing that would improve this is a soundtrack of Gary whistling "Farmer in the dell."

"Sometimes when we practice too much, we end up screwing it up," Brohm said.
Not practicing too much in preparation for a Don Brown defense. Interesting strategy.
