Production Inaccuracies In ABC / BTN Broadcast (Which Were Interpreted As Hate By Author Of Post)

Submitted by Billmunson on September 12th, 2021 at 8:48 PM

intro on ABC showed JJ McCarthy not McNamara while BTN showed someone other than Blake Corum as one of 4 Impact players yesterday.

MOD EDIT - Changing title because A) I can do that, and B) the original accounting of this as "hate" is almost certainly woefully inaccurate and a strange thing to take personally. - LSA

Yeah I noticed that McCarthy was pictured when the broadcast brought up Cade McNamara at the start of the game last night.  Didn't notice the Blake Corum thing.

Either way, none of this deserves a thread, least of all a poorly worded and hastily put together one.

Bullshit like taking a honest mistake and perceiving it as a slight against your fandom is what gives Michigan fans a bad name.

You should probably commiserate with WD... he posted some rubbish on Friday about people who may not wear maize to the game.

I mean, I saw they accidentally used JJs photo when they were doing Cade's intro but pry done by some intern making $15/hr. Not something worth being worried about.

Dirty little secret about the entertainment industry…a lot of interns are paid below minimum wage or not paid at all.  And these aren’t “spend a few months then go back to college” internships.  They are full-time jobs.

This makes it so that only the kids of rich entertainment industry people can actually afford to be interns.

Moar disrespekt?!?!

Hanging a hundred on Northern Illinois and Rutgers, (500 yards rushing and 500 yards passing each game) should take care of that.

On Gameday yesterday, the ESPN desk host referred to Ronnie Bell as Ronnie Jones, apologized for the mistake, then immediately called Iowa State "Northern Iowa."
