OT - Max Bullough: PED User

Submitted by alum96 on

Following a long built culture since the Perles days (Hi Mandarich and friends) of MSU players "enhancing" themselves, Max "Don'tAsk , Don't Tell" Bullough got caught by the NFL for PED use.  I always get a kick with the response - which he carbon copied... "sorry to my family and fans... it is up to me to know what is in my supplements."

"it is my responsibility to know the ingredients in every supplement that I use."

Translated - no one said shit about it at MSU, sucks it counts against me here.

You mean to tell me.....that a school and a coach who primarily recruits 3 star players........ with most offer lists looking like MSU, Boston College, Syracuse, Toledo, and Louisville......has these guys magically add 50 lbs of muscle once they are on campus in a redshirt year (don't get this confused with red lock)........and then turns those players into all conference monsters........many of whom have gone on to be busts in the NFL where they have PED testing (Gholston, Worthy, Greg Jones)....and recent transgressions have shown they have no problem covering stuff up.......would possibly be using PEDs as a program!!!..........nahhhhhhhhhhh can't be.

I'm sure it's just all natural "Spartan pride and hard work"

I'd say the first hint as to the veractity of your theory is a coach that sometimes has problems hiding roid rage at press conferences. I'm sure most people not only had a thought this was going on but pretty damn certain for the exact reasons you pointed out. Elite programs find diamonds in the rough with the occaional 3*, i.e., Mike Hart, Chris Evans (OSU offer as well). However, given the background of Dantonio and all his OSU connections, it was ingrained in him that winning, no matter the cost, is worth all costs. While it could hurt the program in the long run - can't help thinking about the shit they were taught under Narducci like the attempt to rip Denard's head off at the bottom of the pile - at the mere thought of that program, no coach getting in his face immediately, etc., tells me it was not only condoned, it was accepted practice. Dantonio will walk away with millions banked and the way that brotherhood works(ex-coaches) he'll walk away from MSU as an extremely comfortable retiree while the school will suffer a penalty that wil probably run at least 4 score.

I have nothing to back this up but I believe these drugs are out of your system quicker than they used to be. That's probably why no one gets caught. I don't believe it's a coincidence that every MLB team now has at least one and sometimes multiple guys who can hit high 90s to triple digits. Less than 10 years ago, that was still rare. 100 years of baseball just changed all of a sudden. Look at all of the position players who are still huge. They play games almost every day. When do they lift weights? Mike Trout was 20 years old but looked like Brian Urlacher. I bet his production falls off a cliff the second he signs this next contract. It wouldn't shock me if this is the reason running backs have significantly shorter careers compared to 15 to 20 years ago. These guys get destroyed now. If anything LBs are smaller compared to the players in the 90s.

or at least their online edition.

I guess this must be what is distracting them from investigating all of the EL FB criminals and Dr. Nassar.

This is absolutely SHOCKING! Who could have possibly seen this coming? He has always been an upstanding citizen and football player who didn't play in his team's bowlgame for an undisclosed reason that definitely had nothing to do with PED use.

See, I don't think MSU would suspend players for PED use as it's a cultural thing.  If so they;d have 7 players for their Rose Bowl.

WOTS is Bullough beat up someone very badly in Traverse City on his break between end of season and bowl practices.

And his brother got kicked out of a game this past year after I believe 3 penalties (I think the third was targeting but they came 1 after the other).  Beating people up and continues penalties ending in targeting is just "unnecessary roughness" and nothing to do with roid rage...

It wasn't for a fight. He tested positive for another drug . One he had a problem with in his senior year. There is a lot about that family that was swept under the rug in Traverse City. Riley had a DUI as a junior, and there were worse allegations that disappeared as well.

MI that has heard these same rumors Qmatic. TC is a relatively small town and when you are one of the wealthiest families in that town, you get away with a lot of shit. It's nothing new though as the same applies to wealthy families be they from large cities or small towns. I think had they attended one of the larger schools, Central or West, a little more may be known of them.

The other half of that family, with the patriarch being Jim Morse, Sr., who was the blocking back for Paul Hornung at ND is one of Muskegon's wealthiest as well.  He was more than a little pissed when ND did not extend an offer to his youngest, Bobby Morse, who became the blocking back for Lorenzo White at MSU but that kid was a worker. He had to put on about 35 lbs just to be an undersized lead blocker, but damn he was a great high school RB and db. MCC fields the same size team as TC Catholic so I can imagine it would be hard for a school like ND to get a read on them. That was also during the Holtz era where they did lower their admissions standards and if it came down to the Rocket or the Bus vs. Bobby, well we know who wins that contest.

But to Bobby's credit, he did enjoy, I believe, a seven year career with the Eagles, the highlight, which I'm certain he has no problem admitting was about a 95 yard kickoff return vs. the Lions. Oh yeah, the Lions and Karma.

I've said for years that the key to the success in EL was Narduzzi's defense and PEDs --

Now with Narduzzi gone and this news coming out ...I'm sure McDowell and others in the past 3-9yrs or so were also juiced.

And wasnt' Mork the DC still in Columbus when their LB choked the Wisky QB while sitting on his chest?  Fucking dirtbags..

hitting on 80% of your 3 stars turning into contributing B1G players all the way to all-conference status wasn't just D'antorellio coaching em up by their junior years?  The fact that their talent level was consistently performing 3 standard deviations from the norm of where it should was not just due to great player development and heart?

I'm completely shocked by your allegations.  They win because of heart and character.

the supplement excuse is hilarious, once you find out what they tested positive for. There are some supplements you can buy at GNC that are on banned lists for professional sports but Tremobolona and Deca-durabolin aren't available at your local GNC

less than 400g of test you dont really have to take an anti e, i cant belive how many of these guys get popped, especially with how lose the PED policy is.
