OT: Indiana QB Peyton Ramsey transferring to Northwestern
Northwestern picked up a solid grad transfer QB. They don't play UM but they do open the season against Sparty on Sept 5 so hopefully Ramsey will start off with a W.
Indiana will rely on the young and powerful Michael Penix. The big question is can Penix stay erect all year, as he has had trouble finishing B1G games. If he can, he will be coming into the big house the week before the OSU game.
No one can blame you.
I heard he wasn’t transferring to MSU.
While this topic was highlighted in the "over capacity on Sparty posts" thread, your title is much more effective and far less cryptic. Upvote deserved.
Also, Northwestern is getting a decent QB option in Ramsey. I fully expect the moribund Northwestern offense to benefit.
Penix has had success with wide receivers, but doesn’t utilize the tight end. Needs to spread balls around a bit more.
needs work on the two minute drill
Are you kidding? When he goes tempo, he can score fast.
. . . sometimes too fast.
Is there a way to fix that? Just hypothetically I mean?

Penix spreading balls around.
Ramsey is a very good quarterback. It will be interesting to see how he does.
Maybe not actually true, but it felt at times last year like Indiana's first two options at QB were both better than Michigan's first.
Yeah I don’t really think there was a time where any sane fan felt that was the case...
Is it Ramsey’s significantly higher completion percentage, better ypa, higher QBR or something else that makes you think Ramsey it worse than Patterson? Just wondering for those of us that actually pay attention. What’s the “sane fan” argument for Patterson being better? Better receivers? Just wondering how Patterson was so significantly better.
Agree. I’m surprised Harbaugh didn’t make more of a push for him. He’s not a stranger to transfer quarterbacks and with the recent Debord hire, this would’ve been an obvious move.
Lets just all hope this means we are so stocked full of talent at the QB position that Harbaugh isn’t worried.
Good luck @ NW, Peyton. Hope you light it up on 9/5/20 for a win!!!
The big question is can Penix stay erect all year, as he has had trouble finishing B1G games.
It's a common problem. So I've been told.
I hear there are some doctors that can help with that
If it lasts over 4 hours, it's probably a Fox game
This needs to be said by Jeff Foxworthy. " If you have a (redacted) that lasts greater than 4 hours...you just might be...watching...a Fox game."
Helping to insure another NW victory over MSU. Nice.
Insure? Or ensure?
You are correct.

Much better!
Penix is a solid battle hardened kid. Other teams try to keep him down...but he can stay up all day and night if there is a night game. He just seems like he is full of blood and throbbing with energy..the way he thrusts the ball effortlessly. If the team can't get it going he can enviagraorate the offense. I mean he can throw it really sling it around and shoot it all over the place. His long game is solid but he needs to get a little thicker. Man that Penix if he gets as thick as I think he can get he'll split the competition wide open...nobody comes harder if he wants it he takes it!
Plus I heard he has a huge cock (Norm McDonald voice).
Some people negged me... I guess they just don't like penix. But man that guy smooth. Penix is the best! Well actually vaginas the best thing on earth! But second best after that Michael penix man he's the tops! I bet that guy gets all the girls... Oh and did I mention he has a huge cock!
I think you’re trying too hard.

No no no they're just mad cuz I'm talking about the guys huge cock...
Hope he starts the season very well against Staee. QB could be very dicey for Staee this season. They could improve their O-line play but it may not make a huge difference if their QB is terrible.
Aren't the Penix/penis jokes played out by now?
You’d think so, but people are still making the 3-9 jokes a full three years later. So I doubt the Penix jokes are going anywhere.
Point taken.
Penix ejaculates at press conferences.
Makes sense. Penix was so engorged with confidence last year, I’m expecting he’ll have an up year
He’s certainly on the rise
Penix is long and thin, unorthodox motion, but accurate at finding targets. Most comfortable staying in the pocket. Effective going deep, doesn't often rush, and will turn it over at times.
While I agree that Ramsey brings a lot to the table, I think you'll see a vas deferens in the Indiana offense next season with Penix under center.

Best one yet. Bravo.
I’m glad we don’t play northwestern this year that kid always games against UM
Is it pronounced Pen-ix of Pee-nix?
I thought Dantonio was the penix.
There is a vas deferens between Penix and Ramsey in performance...
204-300 (68%) for 2,454 yards, 13 TD and 5 INT in 11 games for the Hoosiers in 2019.
Added 252 yards and 7 TD on 97 rushing attempts (2.6 AVG).
There is, of course, a vas deferens between those two quarterbacks.
Quite the teste situation!
The wrong QB transferred. Clearly Penix was meant to wear a purple helmet.
