The way the game played out, this was very Denard-to-Roundtree in UTL I. Browns give up a late TD to go down 3 with a minute left, get a huge pass play to get within FG range, take their one shot at the end zone with a fade and it pays off.

When did DPJ become OT?
October 25th, 2020 at 4:20 PM ^
When the season started, right?
October 25th, 2020 at 5:05 PM ^
Since he caught Covid
October 25th, 2020 at 6:02 PM ^
Well, at least he caught something...
(::OHHHH!!! Sorry, too soon? I had to, easy target and all...::)

Me and my stupid content....

Love the kid. Congrats DPJ!
October 25th, 2020 at 4:48 PM ^
Just wish Michigan could finally recruit a big, physical wide receiver like DPJ to play for us.

Hail yes!

MGrowOld, check in with us to make sure you're still alive!!!!

Man, my remote almost flew out of my hand because I was pumping my fist so hard! DPJ doing what we saw him do with us - great body control, great hands, great catch! It's about damn time they threw him the ball. Landry threw it to him earlier for his first reception of his career, and then... BOOM! Touchdown DPJ!
October 25th, 2020 at 4:20 PM ^
It will be interesting to see how well DPJ can do with a QB who can get him the ball. Would have loved to have seen, DPJ, Nico and Tarik with Milton.

Have you seen Baker Mayfield against NFL defenses? Unfortunately, I don’t think DPJ’s situation is that different now than it was last year. Hopefully, at some point in his career we’ll see him play with a decent QB.
October 25th, 2020 at 7:11 PM ^
He just completed 21 straight and broke Bernie Kosar's Browns record.
But you're right, that wasn't an NFL defense.
October 26th, 2020 at 1:01 AM ^
I think you're confusing the Bengals with an NFL team.
October 25th, 2020 at 4:21 PM ^
Never doubted his hands and body control...probably one of the best in terms of falling body control that I've ever seen to be honest.
The catches vs. MSU and IU last year. That swing pass he took to the house.
He caught a ton of Patterson's passes that were slightly off. Milton throw a pass that would've taken my head off and DPJ caught it on the dive.
Always thought he should've been used in the slot more.
A lot of rumblings about attitude, not sure if substantiated but it doesn't sound like a lot of people were sad to see him and Tarik Black leave.
Also, poor Joe Burrow, he's a beast and they're terrible.

Only one explanation for this. Joe Milton.

Baker Mayfield this game:
with OBJ - 0/5, INT
without OBJ - 22-23 5 TDs 297 yds (the one incompletion was a spike to stop the clock)
I’m a Browns fan and have said since the first season they traded for OBJ that he didn’t make the team any better. That spend way too much time trying to force it to him and he’s just not the same player he was during his first 4 years in the league.

Fabulous.
The Lions AND the Browns both win?! And with last-second plays!!
October 25th, 2020 at 5:14 PM ^
The Apocalypse is nigh. Run for the hills!
October 25th, 2020 at 7:19 PM ^
The Bengals winning would be a bigger sign of the Apocalypse.

That was a great catch to get his feet in bounds. He's talented; that's for sure. I'm perfectly content with our current receivers, but with a good QB, we would have been scoring like a video game last year. What a waste.
October 25th, 2020 at 5:36 PM ^
I feel like there was a catch very much like this on DPJ's high school highlight film. Good to see it, maybe again!
October 25th, 2020 at 6:14 PM ^
Funny as I talked to a Bengals scout a year and a half ago who didn't think much of DPJ.
October 25th, 2020 at 6:49 PM ^
That was a gorgeous catch.

I had my issues with Shea, but I think the blame for wasting DPJ at UM has more to do with play calling or game plan than Shea.
October 26th, 2020 at 5:34 PM ^
OBJ out for the year now. DPJ will definitely get his shot now.
