OT: Army Loses Again To A Crap Team

Last week Tulane; this week Western Kentucky. So much for Army running the table as Don Brown predicted. Turns out they’re bad at football.

Problems for now. But opportunities. IF we are willing to attack them.

We control our own destiny. Just call the play. Just make the read. Just execute. Just do it again. And again. And again. Until we've won the game. And the next. And the next.

Until we've beaten OSU at home and Wisconsin in Indianapolis and are in the CFP riding a tsunami of momentum. But not counting on momentum. Just executing the next play.

Until we win it all.

I don't care about what Army is doing. I care about what we are going to do.

Sorry to break it to you but we’re not beating Ohio state, not beating penn state, and are damn sure not going to the big ten championship.  What are you smoking?  Have you not watched Michigan play this year?  This team can’t win on the road vs anyone with a pulse. I’d love to be completely wrong about this team, but I’ve seen enough to know that this season won’t end well.

Maybe this would matter if we lost, but we didn't. Everyone has already forgotten about this game. Win next week and everyone shuts up for awhile. We have so many chances for big wins the rest of the season, please let us win even one or two of them

The bigger concern is whether the nation is really safe anymore with this kind of military incompetence

I have been perusing the rcmb board.  Their threads and comments are a mirror image of this board.  Same complaints same suggestions on what to do next.  We pay our staff between 10 and 12 million dollars for a product that frustrates the hell out of us.  They don’t like their staff and are angry that Groucho Mark will receive a 4.3 million retention bonus in January.  College football has become a money grubbing fraud with the schools, athletic departments, coaches, hanger-ons, and soon the players to be competing for the ultimate championship the TV money.

some people were convinced Army was top 25 team... even with the 128th toughest schedule in the country going into the season as ranked by Phil Steele.

no... Michigan's issues on offense are their issues, not because Army was some kind of defensive juggernaut...it was obvious to any objective observer that watched that game.

now its clear to everyone

This isn't super relevant to the larger point you're making that Michigan sucks and should be shot into the moon and we are all going to die alone and eaten by worms, but Tulane is 5-1 with only a loss to Auburn (which was reasonably close).  They are definitely not a crap team.

WKU maybe, but I don't know enough about them.

Anyway, back the usual bitching after a...win?

Yeah. I mean, I really don't care about this. Michigan performed badly that day, but won the football game

I know, I know, "Michigan should have lost this game" that they won. I don't really understand that logic, but I get that people think that.

I'm curious if anything happened that we don't know about. Did Army suffer some major injury or injuries since Michigan played them? The national media wouldn't be discussing this, as no one outside of the Michigan and Army fan base really cares. I just wonder if something changed. If not, OK.

The “fans” that say “they should have lost to Army and Illinois” are the same ones that will make a homophonic remark vis a vis you and Harbaugh if you suggest that 0-4 against OSU is not fully indicative of Michigan’s performance in big games under Harbaugh.

So I wouldn’t pay them much mind. The team deserves better offensive coaching, but the program also deserves better fans.
