Patricia said the generational gap makes it such that players are "more comfortable with this technology than any of the coaches."

"They’re used to this stuff, they can just click on, click off, and they probably have phones and tablets and computers," he said. "Most of us, if we’re not in the same spot, in the exact same situation, clicking on the exact same app, we’re lost."

Pure and simple they’ve had amateurs running the team, I would trust numerous people I know running fantasy teams then the likes of Russ Thomas, Chuck Schmidt, Matt Millen, Martin Mayhew, and Bob Quinn those guys would not win fantasy leagues that I’ve been in.

I can't wait to see Patricia get shitcanned and then cause some scene as he's getting escorted out and bitches about the Detroit media to everyone afterwards.  The guy is a complete jackass.  Basically another Brad Ausmus where he's a shit coach that acts like a jackass to reporters.

Making progress.  They were still using the Pony express to send in draft picks back in the 90's.  The upgrade to the telegraph was anything but smooth at the turn of the century.

I'm sure Belichick is super tech savvy and that's the reason the Pats have been so good for all these years.

It might just be Rick Forzano Tommy Hudspeth Monte Clark Daryl Rogers Wayne Fontes Bobby Ross Gary Moeller Marty Mohrninweg Steve Marriuci DIck Jauron Rod Marinelli Jim Schwartz Jim Caldwell Matt Patricia and the people who hired them.

Don’t forget Harry Gilmer and Don McCafferty.

What’s really amazing that not a single one of those full-time Lions coaches we’ve listed has ever been a head coach again in the NFL (Jauron was later hired as Bills fulltime HC, but he was only interim with Lions).

Considering the number of retreads that have been rehired over the years across the NFL, that’s an amazing record the Lions have achieved. Detroit truly is the graveyard of coaching careers.
