Oklahoma State men's basketball program receives 1 year tournament ban, other pentalties.
The article also states that numerous schools that have been notified of allegations will receive their penalties eventually. Kansas being among them.
Let me guess: all sanctions for the 2019-2020 season.
The Rob Manfred special.
You beat me to it. Well played.
Aye. Time served.
I wonder what No. 1 recruit in the nation Cade Cunningham does now? I know he didn’t go there just to win a National Championship but I would assume it played a role in him choosing Oklahoma State over the G League. His brother is a coach there though so I wouldn’t be surprised if he stayed.
Juan is gonna get a tournament ban for talking about me before I signed.
Remember Quinn was furiously investigating this while still not investigating and helping bury the izzo wapes.
0 for juan
-1 for wapes
Meanwhile, the Duke men's basketball program will probably be given a ten million dollar grant from the NCAA for pioneering leadership in recruiting ethics. Bill Self will get a certificate of achievement from the non-profit started with the grant, called "Coach K's Kidz," which will allow 6 high school recruits of Self's choosing to get personalized tours of campus by highly trained "escorts." Rick Pitino is a board member emeritus.
Edit: Juwan Howard will then be put on trial at the Hague for receiving a text message from potential recruit Jett Howard.
Not just the text message, the, ah, 'special relationship' with the boy's mother.
Juwan has been paying this kid improper benefits since birth. What a disgrace!
Not only that, he slept over at the kids' house.
Lemme just check where the #1 ranked recruit is headed to this year
Huh weird, Oklahoma State
Hey now. Oklahoma State has a rich basketball history. Ever kid dreams of playing under the big lights in Stillwater.
Louisville always appears on someone's shit list.
And rightly so...
Must be their turn to take the heat for Kansas.
Still patiently waiting on LSU to get their punishment
Honestly every school should tell the NCAA to get lost as long as Will Wade is still allowed to coach. Caught red handed and nothing happened. It's incredible
Okie State taking the punishment KU should've gotten. I wonder when Wake Forest will be punished in Duke's stead
Sanctions for Kansas will be retroactively applied to the 2019-2020 season, and due to COVID-19 ending the season, it will be considered "time served."
Schools like Kansas have learned by now that they can tell the NCAA to take their proposed penalties and shove them up their ass. You know the NCAA isn't going to do anything, so why wouldn't you keep pushing the envelope to see what you can get away with.
PUT THE DAMN BANNERS BACK UP WARDE!!!
Let the record reflect, that current Illinois coach Underwood was the OkSU coach in 2017.
Someone had to pay for Duke and UNC indiscretions.
