So down 4 with a about 2 and half minutes left and they call a playaction deep ball because yea we have been hitting that play all year. Yea we needed a TD but we were at basically mid field and were getting chunk plays on the ground. Bad play call because of time of game, down & distance and field position.

The coaches had our boys ready. The one criticism of the coaches is that they trusted JOK to perform in the biggest game of the year. I thought we would get blown out, so I think the coaches did all that was needed to win the game. This loss is entirely on JOK sucking

But we just didn't have the QB to execute. Too many wide open receivers missed by a mile. That last INT was fitting, a totally missed read. Instead of a game winning drive, it's game over. It's frustrating since this is a game we win with a decent QB.

Why is it, seemingly every other team in college football has backup quarterbacks that are at least functional! Or coach is getting owned by our rivals, and is unable to develope a decent quarterback. Saw rumors of a lifetime contract for the man, HELL NO!! What has he done to earn something like that. Need to face it, he is our Coach Cooper!!

Game plan was solid. JoK would have had so much pussy if he won us this one. The thing that burns is Haskins coming in to give us a taste of the future. Good game by our team, we could have won.

Don Brown is the DC and they (he) is excellent.

Offense is a committee and is a clusterfuk at times.  Get a real OC, delegate authority & responsibility, and move on.  If JH wants to call plays like Jimbo, Lincoln, and many others then there is no need for a comittee.

Why wasn’t the long completion that OSU where we had big collision challenged? Looked like the ball came loose after it hit the ground! He did. It complete the catch! Coaches should of challenged the play

I thought the offensive game plan was good until the "bomb" play call for the INT. Why call that play? You have time to run and do short passes to hopefully go down amd win the game with no time left. It was a terrible call. A panic call really.

Announcers explained that one pretty well, it was a read route based on the position of the safety, based on the safety WR ran hook route, O’Korn read it wrong and threw a post route. That is not on the play calling, that is on the QB.

When has JOK made a good decison reading coverage? He hasn't. As a coach you know what your players are and aren't capable of. Calling that playing knowing JOK history is on the coaches. Your job is put players in position to succeed and they didn't on that play because they asked him to do something he cant which is read a defense.

This defensive gets soft in pressure when the game is in balance against the rivals or good teams every time. They stop doing what they usually have success with and backpedal. So much for dictating the attacking on the field. Brown has folded quite a few times. I'd rather see the pressure on a 3rd down with a blitz and get burnt than seeing no pressure and getting beat. That's just my logic I guess.

Not much one can do with a QB who folds under pressure. He loved to get cuaght in the trash and if not got flushed out he'd go back in it. Down by two scores. And throws balls that have no chance to catch up. No awareness whatsoever. Is this team well coached? I say not. So many poor penalties. Defense Always overpursues or gets too far upfiels and any QB who is half aware can. Exploit the piss out of it. Kugler should be on the bench, Cole should be at G but at worst C,. Ruiz should be at C. JBB terribly untimes penalties. Three years to prepare for this... Maybe we should have kept Swenson.

One of the best called games I’ve seen in a long time. Seriously, it’s miraculous they scored over 10 with JOK playing qb. Miraculous. He borks run plays, he missed obvious first reads, he.....he is just awful and no amount of coaching can overcome that unless the opposition is horrible.

The game plan was very good. I thought they got away from or ran out of some misdirection plays in the second half. Straight drops with O'Korn are asking for pain. He is a mess reading the defense. The game was, once again, poorly officiated in the first half.

However, where people go off the rails on this blog is in negging or being upset that people don't like going 8-4 and losing to every rival, or losing to an OSu team that went on to lose 31-0 in the playoff. It's okay to acknowlege that Harbaugh is good without thinking he is perfect.

Look, Haskins came in and kicked Michigan's ass. O"Korn, a fifth year senior with three years or coaching from Harbaugh couldn't read a defense or step into a throw to Chris Evans that would have given Michigan a chance to win the game. To say, it's all on the guys, they have to execute is to miss the fact that coaches need to demand execution in practice. You can't only blame players and absolve coaches, it cuts both ways. To neg people who are pissed that Michigan went 8-4 and that O'Korn seemed to get worse is to be as blindly stupid as those idiots calling for Harbaugh's firing.
