My god they hate Michigan. 4pm the day before a huge game? Just pure hatred. For what? Some low level fuck outsmarted himself by a million percent? Do they really believe whatever Stalions did affected games? If true, how? If it did, it could only be by going through coaches... so saying he affected games is saying that a coach with input on play calling knew that some guy knew too much about the other team's signs.... Which coach was that? This is bullshit. I'll never understand why so many people just pure hate on Michigan--including their own conference.

Of course, it's an amazing study on how well Michigan players are prepared and able to focus on the football. As Michigan representatives, I expect nothing less than complete professionalism from them... and a huge beat down of Ped State tomorrow.... Oh, yeah, did the B1G ever punish Ped State for the raping and pedophilia? Asking for a friend.

The fact that this is being administered near the close of business the day before a big game is beyond the pale to me.   That should never, ever happen except for the most extreme scenario, like Harbaugh being found raping someone in the shower or something like that.   This?  Before the NCAA investigation is even complete?   What if the NCAA determines later that this is a nothingburger and/or it's uncovered that other B1G schools were doing the exact same thing?

This is mob justice and it's repulsive.

The timing of this is obviously intended to affect, to the greatest degree possible, Michigan’s chances tomorrow. Such a cowardly, chickenshit move. Michigan should immediately release ALL the dirt.

So have we received more confirmation about UM having proof of the violations of 9 other Big Ten teams because if so it needs to be submitted to the Big Ten and leaked publicly in addition to the immediate legal action.

This is a conference of cowards. I'd think again about joining were I UCLA, USC, Washington, and Oregon.

The rest of the league members agreed to this. They should be sued along with the conference.

Wonder if UM could immediately demote Jim Harbaugh and make some staffer head coach the next three weeks.

I’m joking, but not. If they want to play that came, we should too.

Read the response.

They state this is not a sanction on Harbaugh and they have no evidence he knew anything about it.

In addition, the committee did meet and approved this.

Fuck the Big 10.  We should leave the conference.

I guess the goal was to neutralize the TRO request, which presumably argued the actual rules and regs, by completely stepping outside of the rules.  If this was written as fiction, nobody would believe it.

I never thought I would say it, but just leave the B1G already.  If you don't like having to compete with us, then don't.  Fill your own coffers.

I called the big ten office. I left a message on their answering machine declaring my boycott and calling for Pettiti to be fired immediately.

The fact they waited to late Friday afternoon so Michigan can't go to court, right before the biggest game of the season, shows a level of cowardice  reserved for only the rarest of milquetoast weasels

Poor Frames is going to be sucking buttermilk by the 3rd quarter tomorrow, all while Harbaugh stands on the sideline holding the "double birds" to him the entire way.

Seriously, fuck the B1G. I cannot wait for the airing of all the dirty laundry.

Capitalized Master Spreadsheet is doing a lot of work in that document from the Big Ten. What is the provenance of it?

Kangaroo courts are embarrassed by this shit.

So,,,Michigan demotes Jim Harbaugh to an "assistant" for three games, and Ward Manuel appoints himself as interim coach...who is not allowed to be present at the games, but can perform all media duties of the head coach throughout the week. Problem solved.

Fuck the B1G. They even said this is not punishment for Harbaugh but the university. This unfair to Harbaugh plus the B1G commissioner is only allowed to suspend Jim for 2 games. He violated that. This unfair to JH!

Tony refers to the Wyld Stallions’ actions as an “impermissible scheme” forty times in his notice.  He even tries to put those words in the mouth of the NCAA in section I.E.:

E. The NCAA Provides Its Evidentiary Conclusions to the University and the Conference About the Scheme

On November 2, a senior Conference staff member and I participated in a call with NCAA President Baker, other senior NCAA staff members, and the University’s Athletic Director, General Counsel, and outside counsel. During that call, the NCAA informed the Conference and the University that, based on its investigation and the evidence it had collected, the NCAA “knew and could prove” the following:

  • the staff member participated in and coordinated a vast off campus, in-person advance scouting scheme involving a network of individuals;
  • he purchased and forwarded tickets for games involving future University football opponents, and the tickets were for seats strategically located for stealing the future opponents’ signs;
  • he and others acting at his direction video recorded signs used by future University opponents while attending the opponents’ games in person;
  • information, including videos of future opponents’ signs, was delivered back to the staff member by those who had attended the games and taken the videos at his direction; and
  • during the time in question, including through the University’s seventh game of the 2023 season, the staff member was present on the University’s sidelines, dressed similarly to University coaches, in close proximity to University coaches, and he communicated directly with such coaches.

In light of this information, the NCAA informed the University and me that the existence of the impermissible scheme by this University football staff member was “uncontroverted.” The NCAA indicated that it was continuing its investigation to determine, among other things, who else knew about and/or was involved in the scheme

Notice what is absent in the bullet points about what the NCAA “knew and could prove”?

The NCAA definitively calling the actions of the Wyld Stallions impermissible.

I just called the B1G offices and left a message telling them how disappointed I was in the conference suspending Jim Harbaugh unjustly without any kind of due process and investigation, and said this was all done on schools within the conference that do not like the University of Michigan. I told them this will cause irreversible harm to the big 10 conference . I did not curse and was polite in my recording. at  Phone: (847) 696-1010.

I am ready to do up downs in the yard tomorrow while chugging beers and screaming go blue if that in anyway helps our cause. Fuck the Big Ten. This is all bullshit. I love you boys.

pending no response, we’re going to do it anyway, with a garden hose for the muddy affect

Take them to court. When this is over, it should be nothing fire and brimstone and Harbaugh with a smirk on his face.

Tony, you're on borrowed time as commissioner my friend.
