I predict Mo Hurst will have a monster UFR score. He was lightning quick off the snap and absolutely abused the MSU lineman across him.

Gary still pushes upfield too much...creates lanes for the QB to scramble through.

The DBs has some busts but had some clutch PBUs.

Again worked his magic. He continues to show why he is the best DC in the business. I would love to be a fly on the wall during his halftime adjustment speeches. Whatever he says, it works every time

To one first down and zero points in the 2nd half and still loses!?!? Between fumbled punt snaps and pissing on our own nuts, this team just continues to amaze me. I have checked out for the rest of this season. This loss was inexcusable.

it would be spectacular if the D would play the first half as well as the second - pitching a shutout was the only chance to win with this pathetic offense, When JH gets rid of Drevno and the ago actually produces, the D will really pin its ears back and attack.

I was praying for a turnover the whole 2nd half, but I cannot hold it against the defense. They mitigated damage in the first half and Don Brown's 2nd half adjustments are downright legendary!

I pray that they expose Penn State once and for all!

really has not played a good offense. We may think it is good but I think PSU abd OSU will shred us apart. Recruiting will take a dip when we only finish with 7 or 6 wins.

Mo Hurst's get off is insane. It's almost looks like he gets a head start on most plays. The defense did their job, as they usually do under Brown. The defense is going to be very good for the foreseeable future. If we can ever piece together an offensive line and an above average quarterback... that'll be the day.

Did pretty damn well, especially as the offense gifted MSU five turnovers. I know the defense is expected to perform regardless of what happens on offense, but how must it feel to be on an elite defense when your offense counterparts can't even put on their jock straps?

Michigan's defense will continue to produce NFL draft picks and high caliber recruits. Our offense is...terrible. But it's "one play away" terrible instead of "insane, zero star recruits, raging dumpster fire" terrible. I guess that counts for something. Either way, the second half offensive gameplan may have worked if it weren't for Trash Tornado 2™. Five turnovers in a 4 point loss means that the defense handed the game to their offense on a platinum platter with a bouquet and a thank you note. The offense couldn't/didn't execute and JOK threw eleventy billion INTs. But our defense will punch anybody in the mouth.

Looks like the dbs are just playing to knock the ball down when it looks to me like they could get two hands on the ball and possibly intercept it. Needed them to do something to force a turnover and it didn’t happen. They didn’t lose this game though. The offense and the turnovers did.

Less flashy today, but they got the job done. They shut out State for 2.5 quarters. Only problem is they let up and looked weak on a few key plays in the first half. It’s got to be annoying as a defensive player to watch that offense when you are getting your own job done.
