Mike Hart missing? [Ed: Family Commitment]

[Ed-- Hart had a family commitment. Let's cut off speculation. -seth]

I watched the Big Ten coverage and when they introduced all the staff, everyone was announced and at the event other than Mike Hart. Any clue as to where he went, is he interviewing? Also I heard Blake Corum, damn he would be a great motivator and coach one day, no wonder he’s been such a leader for this program last few years.

Honestly, Mike getting experience as an OC at another program would be great, LONG TERM, for Michigan. Especially as we bask in the National Championship glory.

Get some great experience, work out the kinks, and years later you can come back to Michigan as an even better coach.

I think the fact that we're all worried about losing our staff to other teams is wonderful.

It means the culture and staff that has been built here is so great that others recognize it too and want to poach our coaches. This is a great problem to have, great coaches will always be in demand and we will need to replace them at some point.

We cannot and will not keep our staff intact every year, and if it's because they're moving on to bigger opportunities then I wish them the best of luck and trust the foundation that Harbaugh has built will continue to find great replacements.

That seems likely since UW isn't promoting him to the top job:

UW's AD:

We have one of the best head-coaching jobs in all of college football. Our search for a new head coach is underway, and I am excited about what comes next for Husky football.

Now the cupboard will be absolutely bare.

Would not be surprised to see Mike Hart at Alabama. He went on and on about all his close friends on UW staff, DeBoer, as well as his best friend; Nick Sheridan.

Or, less likely, he’s interviewing for Washington job, or a place on that staff
