Personally I am disappointed every time they wear all white pajamas. The road blue pants are amazing and the road maize pants are classic and look great too. I wish we didn't have white pants at all. Either way Go Blue

I always liked them aesthetically but then didn’t like the vibes/juju from losing a lot of road games in them. After OSU last year, I love them again. Clean look, makes the helmet pop. I like that we rotate the white, maize, & blue pants on the road because they all look excellent with the white jersey.

I've argued with my friends over this definitely not completely meaningless stat before. The white pants don't have the bad juju, and maize ones do!

Under Harbaugh, record while wearing...

All whites: 21-12

White jersey, maize pants: 2-2

White jersey, blue pants: 4-0 (!!)

Clearly, this is unequivocal proof we should be wearing the blue pants every single away game

I think we have at least three wins with the white jersey, maize pants combo -- PSU 2021, Indiana 2022, and Nebraska 2023.

Anyways, my hatred for the all-whites has subsided after OSU but I still prefer the maize pants. So much history/tradition, and it's a less generic look than the all-whites.

Yes, I have permanently blacked out the 2020 season now that you say that. I truly don't remember anything but beating Minnesota on opening night and feeling like that was a good sign for the season.............

I do also remember MSU landing an annoying number of deep balls on us and that's about all I've retained

Agree. I thought it was over when they hit that long pass, but then the review called it short of the end zone and I stuck it out with my two girls. When we hit that last goal line stand, they were shocked to see me leap in the air in a way I had never done in their presence before or since.

A huge, gutty performance by a building team.

Absolutely, clutch clutch drive by Speight after Minny had a blatant helmet to helmet on Rudock that if I recall correctly wasn't even flagged (!!!). Also Minnesota's wide outs made two separate super human catches on that final drive prior to Tracy Clays mismanaging a clock about as badly as anyone I have ever seen, what a play by the defense to bring home the win.

Wasn't one of those a 4th down where the ball touched the ground and moved while being cradled on the sides by the Minnesota receiver? I remember being shocked it was ruled a catch.

I remember meeting you too, it was definitely much less stressful than that evening's game.  :-)

Are you bringing along all your kids this time?  IIRC, you brought your two young daughters to their first Brown Jug game back then.

I won't be there tomorrow. Earlier this year I looked into making the trip and considered taking the SS Badger car ferry across Lake Michigan from Ludington to Manitowoc.  I now live north of Grand Rapids instead of near St Joseph MI (an extra 1:45 drive time each way via Chicago) , and thought the ride across the big lake might be a relaxing alternative.  That idea went down the tubes when the Badger shut down operations a couple months ago due to an accident involving their Ludington vehicle-loading apparatus.

Up until a couple days ago I was still considering the 9 1/2 drive tomorrow, but finally decided against it.  Hopefully you and your kid(s) have a fun time and bring home a big Michigan victory tomorrow night!

In addition to coming off…that thing that happened on the final play against MSU, Jerry Kill announced the Monday of the game that he would have to step down because of his health problems.  As soon as that announcement was made public, you immediately knew that Minnesota was going to play above their abilities for their coach.

Typical that Michigan would be the next opponent when all this went down.  It couldn’t have been OSU or Sparty.
