I’m sick of Charles Mathews. Misses more layups than anyone I have ever seen. Can’t make a free throw for shit. Free throws is going to cost this team a few games this year.

Michigan had a solid effort today.  Wins are good, conference wins are always important, and double digit win today is a nice bounce back from an awful game Thursday.

Seems like basketball is not the best sport for a lot of their players. They should consider football or volleyball, sports where shooting a ball through a hoop is not required.

Ever heard of the Texas triangle? or remember when even the best Red Wings rosters could only take 2 of 4 from a trip to San Jose-Anaheim-Calgary-Edmonton? These guys aren’t robots and they aren’t going to just show up and get their PPG/APG/RPG. That’s why teams that “look better on paper” often lose, teams are going to show up against a higher ranked team, especially on their home court. I’ll gladly take 3 of 4 in 8 days. In Beilein I trust

The next two home games are similarly, pivotal, "must-wins". Northwestern and Minnesota are both struggling mightily and neither will be heading to the tournament barring a miracle. Can't lose to either at home.

I'd put the subsequent road/neutral site game in the same category against Northwestern.

The Purdue game will grab all of the attention, but as long as we can win the 3 in a row after it, a loss will be fine.

Solid win. Now let's get some revenge and beat Purdue.

Honestly, if you told me we would go through this dense part of the schedule and only lose one of these games, I would take it any day. Especially with the quality wins we've gotten.
