We faced teams who played bad defense and left a lot of shooters open. That was the story of the Bahamas. Louisville and Oregon are glued to the shooters, and we don't have much to counter with if Teske isn't cooking.

Same problem we've had forever -- when we face a team who closes out hard on shooters, we have no one who can drive the ball with authority and collapse the defense.

We will get back into the game but the issue is that it isn’t like Oregon isn’t going to score at all the rest of the game. This might be just too big of a hole to crawl out of. Will need a lot of breaks to win this game.

It’s not a weird start, though. It’s exactly like what happened last year. Beat good teams early to get the fan base hopeful and then fall off the face of the Earth. The only difference is that the fall happened earlier this year.

It's a team highly dependent on outside shooting to open up anything else. For whatever reason we have good shooters that can't hit the broad side of a barn. 2-11 ain't gonna get the job done. If you're going to shoot poorly you need to play lock down defense and be able to rebound on both ends. This team can't do either.
