that's a moving screen at the top of the key. call that.

Interior of this team is charmin soft
December 14th, 2019 at 12:53 PM ^
I don't even know what to say about that half... Sports are weird I guess
December 14th, 2019 at 12:53 PM ^
What the fuck happened to Livers? He’s a junior and has regressed.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:08 PM ^
He is not a go-to scorer. It isn’t his game. He can be a great complimentary piece but he has zero off the dribble game.
DDJ is the best scorer on the team. He doesn’t have to start but should be playing 25 minutes per game and getting 12-15 shots.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:22 PM ^
This post about Livers did not age well.
December 14th, 2019 at 12:54 PM ^
Da fuq? Could have been worse, I guess?
December 14th, 2019 at 12:54 PM ^
This game should at least be tied ughhhhhhh
December 14th, 2019 at 12:54 PM ^
Oregon has Michigan's number in all sports.
December 14th, 2019 at 12:56 PM ^
Yep our big rival Oregon who we play so often in all sports
December 14th, 2019 at 1:00 PM ^
Oregon and Michigan have had like 6 different coaches total since the last time we played each other in football
December 14th, 2019 at 12:54 PM ^
Down by 8 but we on this game make the damn dunks!!!
December 14th, 2019 at 12:55 PM ^
Note to self:
Shooting practice.

Watching this team is like getting your teeth pulled. There are probably a good number of high school teams more disciplined than these guys.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:02 PM ^
Why the down votes? The offense has been TERRIBLE, you're absolutely right
How nobody else has gotten whiplash from watching Beilein offenses to whatever this is, is amazing to me
December 14th, 2019 at 1:04 PM ^
The structure of the offense is fine. Missing open 3s and dunks is currently the problem. And it's not like Beilein's offenses were great in the last couple years.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:08 PM ^
All everybody complained about 1/2 of last year is how bad our offense was.
December 14th, 2019 at 12:55 PM ^
We need to figure out a way to bring our own energy from the get-go! You can't wait until you're down 15 to show up. Yeah we missed a ton of shots but the energy level of the whole team wasn't there from the jump.
December 14th, 2019 at 12:55 PM ^
i can't believe we didn't make any use of teske the entire half, considering his size advantage. that has to be more of a focus in the 2H.
December 14th, 2019 at 12:58 PM ^
Teske might have the size, but against good post defenders he is a low percentage option if you are suggesting we just dump it down to him and let him try to go to work. I'm sure Juwan has made it a point of emphasis to work on his post moves, but he is pretty limited against athletic post defenders.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:03 PM ^
okuro is their biggest guy at 6'9". he ain't stopping 7'1" if teske gets it down low. plus, teske can kick it back out if nothing there.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:06 PM ^
We will have to disagree on this one. Teske is not a great finisher around the rim. He's had a few good games here and there, but it's not a skill of his that you can hang your hat on.
But I'm fine with the concept of playing inside out.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:09 PM ^
idk. averaging 17 pts the last four games. double digits every game but one this year. one shot attempt today.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:09 PM ^
I would also add that if Michigan is going to continue to play 4 out, 1 in against Oregon's zone, then I would prefer Johns at the 5 for his offensive rebounding presence instead of Teske. Just situational for this game.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:07 PM ^
White men can't jump
December 14th, 2019 at 1:08 PM ^
As odd as it sounds, sometimes it's harder to play against undersized big men. You don't have leverage and it's just feel awkward. The best thing to do is not even power dribble or anything, just catch it, keep it high, and go right up with it. Do your work before you get the ball so you catch it deep and can go right up with it. He's been catching it 10 feet from the rim.
December 14th, 2019 at 12:55 PM ^
Livers has been a mild disappointment
He has the length to get off shots but pump fakes everything. He has not finished well, either.
Maybe other guys finish too, ahem, Johns.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:01 PM ^
livers is 0-6. that has to flip to have any chance.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:03 PM ^
6-0? I'd be good with that
December 14th, 2019 at 12:56 PM ^
7-29, 3-13 from downtown and still only down by 8. That's a ridiculously ugly stat line though.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:07 PM ^
The starters were a combined 3-18 that half (1-7 from 3). 11 points. 0 from Livers and Teske. DDJ was the only player with more than one field goal (with 4, 2 of them being 3s). Good thing he showed up, or it would be a 20-point game right now.
December 14th, 2019 at 12:58 PM ^
DDJ gave us a chance. Time for somebody else to step up and take us home.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:01 PM ^
Michigan needs to make 5 dunks in the 2nd half to pass the E-Line.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:02 PM ^
Kudos to that reference! Let's start with 1 and go from there!
December 14th, 2019 at 1:03 PM ^
For those wondering, Slippery Rock is tied at 8 halfway through the first quarter of their semifinal matchup against Minnesota State. They’re playing in a blizzard right now. The game is on ESPN3 if any one wants to catch it before halftime ends/after Michigan’s game.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:06 PM ^
Think I'll stay with ESPN3.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:06 PM ^
It took halftime to break a streak of missed dunks...
December 14th, 2019 at 1:07 PM ^
I wonder if Livers knows he is supposed to put the ball in the basket?
December 14th, 2019 at 1:13 PM ^
He heard you
December 14th, 2019 at 1:10 PM ^
3 of their starters have 2 fouls. Need to exploit that.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:10 PM ^
Coming out in a zone seems ... less than optimal.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:11 PM ^
Michigan again can’t get a defensive rebound and then Teske fouls a 3-point shooter. Great start. Why isn’t DDJ on the court?
December 14th, 2019 at 1:11 PM ^
Wagner gotta play more physical.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:12 PM ^
First half stat to make you vomit:
The team outside of DDJ is 3-22 from the field.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:12 PM ^
This team is slow all around, and under sized in the back court. That's why we were not ranked pre-season. We are well coached, and streaky, which will win its fair share of games though,
December 14th, 2019 at 1:12 PM ^
Z wtf man?
December 14th, 2019 at 1:13 PM ^
just got back from lunch
The fuck is going on in this game?
December 14th, 2019 at 1:13 PM ^
Simpson’s lazy ass 1 handed passes continue to kill this team.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:13 PM ^
that's garbage Z. way to screw up a good run.
December 14th, 2019 at 1:13 PM ^
Hey the One Arm Bandit strikes again!
Just stop it Z
