He is not a go-to scorer.  It isn’t his game.  He can be a great complimentary piece but he has zero off the dribble game.

DDJ is the best scorer on the team.  He doesn’t have to start but should be playing 25 minutes per game and getting 12-15 shots.

Watching this team is like getting your teeth pulled.  There are probably a good number of high school teams more disciplined than these guys.

We need to figure out a way to bring our own energy from the get-go! You can't wait until you're down 15 to show up.  Yeah we missed a ton of shots but the energy level of the whole team wasn't there from the jump.

As odd as it sounds, sometimes it's harder to play against undersized big men. You don't have leverage and it's just feel awkward. The best thing to do is not even power dribble or anything, just catch it, keep it high, and go right up with it. Do your work before you get the ball so you catch it deep and can go right up with it. He's been catching it 10 feet from the rim.

Livers has been a mild disappointment

He has the length to get off shots but pump fakes everything. He has not finished well, either.

Maybe other guys finish too, ahem, Johns.

For those wondering, Slippery Rock is tied at 8 halfway through the first quarter of their semifinal matchup against Minnesota State. They’re playing in a blizzard right now. The game is on ESPN3 if any one wants to catch it before halftime ends/after Michigan’s game.

Michigan again can’t get a defensive rebound and then Teske fouls a 3-point shooter. Great start. Why isn’t DDJ on the court?

This team is slow all around, and under sized in the back court.  That's why we were not ranked pre-season.   We are well coached, and streaky, which will win its fair share of games though,
