@msutrash1 is hilariously relentless in his trolling of l'il brother. I just started following Stu Douglass @SWD_317. He's had some interesting takes on the state of Michigan basketball.

Also, this isn't Michigan, but one of the most entertaining cartoonists I've seen since The Far Side ended has been posting a new comic he created - @nathanpyle. It's a little cerebral so it keeps away all the Spartans. All they're able to do is say "I don't get it."

I don't use Twitter very much. I don't even have my own account. I have nothing against it, but I see it as one more social media distraction. I'll peruse around Google's twitter recommendations whenever big Michigan news is coming out, but I don't have anyone that I follow on a regular basis. Or even a semi-regular basis. 99% of my Michigan news comes from MGoBlog, or the couple of Michigan Insider podcasts I listen to throughout the week. 

Twitter can also be a little exhausting sometimes because you've got so many blowhards who get into internet tough guy contests with each other and at the end of the day, act like nothing more than 5 year olds taunting each other. That's not a reflection on Twitter itself, just some of the idiots who use it. I can't even imagine what Twitter spats between guys like Stephen A. Smith and LaVar Ball must've been like.

obviously the king of Michigan football Mr. James T. Yoder /s. Im actually kinda sad he blocked me. I miss seeing the pathetic meltdowns,and his press release that was written in comic sans.

A few I haven't seen:

@BFQuinn covers both M and MSU basketball for the Athletic and is my favorite writer who covers Michigan in any capacity.

@chenglis is a great Detroit News beat writer who also tweets about her mom's Michigan hot takes and how old Wojo is.

@aria_gerson is the current Michigan Daily sports editor and football beat writer and is very good.

@ethan_sears, @theo_mackie, and @max_marcovitch are also all either basketball or football people with the Daily and every season you should just go figure out who the Daily beat writers are that season and follow them.

@TonyPaul1984 isn't strictly speaking a Michigan person but often has good info and does a lot of great coverage of the state's mid-majors for the Detroit News.

I made the mistake in the beginning of my twitter days by following too many players and now my feed is littered with stuff I don’t care to see from their likes and retweets.  I’ll tell ya what, some people are crazy!
