Hard agree, and this may be where the admin is failing the most. It should be so simple to have them say "The Michigan Athletic Department is excited to officially partner with XXX". That would be a great signal to the fanbase and boosters.

You dont even get the benefit of cheaper rent, its 1100 a bedroom. Dont defend him just because hes a billionaire, we know from literally hundreds of studies that access to natural light is massively important. Prisons, even in America, ensure prisoners have windows in their bedrooms.

"91% acceptance rate for law school" tells you literally nothing about the school itself considering there's only 20ish law schools that are even worth considering out of 180ish total. Frankly only a 91% acceptance rate to law school is embarrassing considering how many garbage law schools there are.
Miami might be fine if you want to stay in Ohio, but if your son wants to end up anywhere outside the mid-west then he would be a fool to pick anywhere other than Michigan. Michigan is a national brand, Miami of Ohio? Not so much.

Class of 2018 here it is all jobs jobs jobs. If the best job they get offered is in San Francisco then there really is not anything you can do. Some people I know stayed in Michigan for Wayne Med or Michigan Law and an even smaller number got a really good offer at Quicken but everyone I know who stayed in Detroit for their first post grad job has now transferred or switched jobs out of state. There just isnt anything Michigan offers.
Actually fun fact, kids today are LESS likely to be snatched off the street now. There's also less sexual assault and less violent crime. I also dont know about you but I dont think a 4 year old is going to eschew playing outside because of a blog.
