The only difference between Gattis’s O and the previous ones under Harbaugh is that they are in shotgun 99 percent of the time. Harbaugh needs to let it go

The "communist" backfield rotation has got to be frustrating for the guys in that rotation. Charbonnet, Haskins, Corum, Evans get in for a play or two and then don't see the field for a few series. They come in for another couple plays a few series later. How does a back get any rhythm or any confidence when he's only getting half a dozen touches a game?

On top of it, I am pretty sure that, as the season wears on, the tendencies on each of the backs gets better defined and it makes it easier to defend.

This 1000%.  I have been saying this for years...We continue to do the same dumb shit on offense year in and out and we have had 3 OC's.

The problem is and has always been Jim Harbaugh.   When we continue to make the same mistakes year in and year out and we keep changing the offensive coaches...News Flash, its the Head Coach that's the problem.

Last week was an aberration. This offense has no adaptive play calling; it attempts to stick a square peg in a round hole. It just so happens to be that Minnesota was a square hole.

Getting Milton to throw short and not do too much last week was less about getting him acclimated and more about the fact that Milton cannot complete a pass more than 10 yards down field. He is like trying to pour someone a shot out of a fire hydrant.

The one drive we looked competent we stalled out because we decided to run wildcat while we were clicking offensively. Lucky that dumb shit wasn’t intercepted. We had to set it up with 2 plays just to make that attempted throw plausible. Terrible idea.

Overall, this game sucked, we sucked and now I have zero hope for anything this year or beyond.

Probably done watching this year, as I have too much stress in my life from 2020. See y’all next season, maybe.

Milton rushed for 5 yards on 1st down.  If they don't pull him and light 2nd and 5 from the 6 on fire with a wildcat playcall that was destined to fail, and then call wildcat again on 3rd and 4 with a playcall MSU was prepared for and should have picked off, they probably score a TD there easy and have 4 extra points and win.

Corum scored pretty easy the last time they were down there. Why not run a fake off that play and do a sweep to Giles or Ronan or someone?

Or just let your DE sized QB keep plowing foward behind Mason for 2-3 more attempts?

More on Milton: when he got pressure or something went awry he reverted back to this “star qb in higschool like play” where he thought he could just out run anyone on defense or force the ball into tiny windows. His lizard brain started to take over and he came crashing back to earth. When things were humming against Minn he looked unstoppable, today once some passes got dropped and some blitzes got home he looked like he did his first 2 years on campus

What the fuck was that last drive? 5 minutes left and we dink and dunk to 1 minute left. Throw the fucking ball down the field. I’d rather have Milton overthrow than not even having a fucking chance of winning the game.

The only reason I’m not on the “Fire Harbaugh” train is who the fuck else are we gonna get. Recruiting is going to take a hit after this shit show. Fuck

Im so sick of the "Who else do we hire that is better than Harbaugh" crowd

All the top teams hired coaches that werent sure things. Saban, Swinney, Lincoln Riley, Day, etc. None of these guys were coaching legends before they took over their programs

You find coordinators who have shown they can be successful leading their unit and you take a shot

There's never any sort of plan on offense.  Something works, and then they ignore it.  Haskins was great on that one drive they inexplicably put him in at the Wildcat at the end (those 4 points would have come in handy at the end), and then never went back to him. Finished with 8 carries for 56 yards.

For the 6th year in a row they have no identity on offense.  OCs come and go, but the one thing that's always stayed consistent is Harbaugh's meddling in it.

I don't think the result would've been any different if we still had Shea. Charb had...3 yards of rushing.

Maybe we needed this to put a spark on this team. I don't mind Joe Milton, it just seems like he needs a bit of fire and energy. He lead us in rushing but looked SO slow and not confident.

Went out of their way to not give the ball to Corum and Henning in space. When they got the ball and were able to get to the edge, they got yards. And then they completely abandoned it for almost the entire second half. Why are they having the speed back run up the middle? Who cares about getting recruits who are fast if Harbaugh’s stubbornness doesn’t let the offense take advantage of them? Beyond pathetic. Fire Harbaugh. Make Gattis interim. Maybe then they’ll start doing plays that work over plays that don’t.
