Michigan crystal ball for CA WR Christian Dixon

Submitted by Gentleman Squirrels on May 17th, 2020 at 5:01 PM

He received a crystal ball from Greg Biggins who is the 247 West Coast Recruiting expert. Before this he had a run of crystal balls for Cal so currently they lead 60%, with ND and Michigan tied at 20%.

He’s a 4 star and currently at #168 nationally. Listed at 6’2, 187lb and a listed 4.63 40 time on 247

Fascinating why you'd choose to go to Cal, honestly. Why not Stanford if you're committed to whatever football and a great education in the Bay? (Even weirder that he's from SoCal and a Cal lean. USC and UCLA are trash, sure, but haven't Arizona and Oregon been tearing it up down there?)

I get that it's not a great football destination. It's also true that Stanford's combination of academics and sports is hard to beat. It's a great school.

Cal has its charms, though. The Berkeley atmosphere (last I checked, anyway) is very different from the Stanford atmosphere (ditto) when town and campus are considered.

Self-quarantining is directly affecting you.  If you feel that your Harold Lloyd routine is humorous then continue it after the storm. This sports blog is creating lots of new characters.  Thus, your comments are less contagious and simply self amoral.  Congrats and +1 for your continued successes.  I Lol’d!!!

I'll give it a try.

This recruitment still does not help all the issues on the defensive side of the ball. All the defensive coaches are terrible recruiters. OSU probably has 4 commits from WRs with ranked higher than Dixon. Because our defensive recruiting is so bad, those 4 higher rated WRs will put up 78 points per game on Don Brown (who only recruits low 3*s from Boston College territory). Oh, and Dixon's 247 rating is lower than the composite...he is barely a 4-star according to them. Harbaugh getting paid $8M per year should bring much better recruits than this - he recruits like he is at Iowa State.

Does that work?

Ah yes. You fan boys have no idea of reality.

I also forgot to add that Urban Meyer says that recruiting is by far the most important aspect of coaching....more so than player development, game planning, and everything. If you are not an exceptional recruiter, you cannot coach at OSU. Also, PJ Fleck would be a far, far superior recruiter at Michigan than Harbaugh.

I'm sure I'm missing something else.
