Michigan crystal ball for CA WR Christian Dixon
He received a crystal ball from Greg Biggins who is the 247 West Coast Recruiting expert. Before this he had a run of crystal balls for Cal so currently they lead 60%, with ND and Michigan tied at 20%.
He’s a 4 star and currently at #168 nationally. Listed at 6’2, 187lb and a listed 4.63 40 time on 247
A Greg Biggins crystal ball is a big deal
A Big(gins) deal
A noble spirit biggins the smallest man.
Update: More crystal balls have come in, now from Demetric Warren, Tom Loy (ND reporter) and Sam Webb
Crystal ball, but no gut feel...
Every CB for Cal has flipped to Michigan.
Yes, please
Fascinating why you'd choose to go to Cal, honestly. Why not Stanford if you're committed to whatever football and a great education in the Bay? (Even weirder that he's from SoCal and a Cal lean. USC and UCLA are trash, sure, but haven't Arizona and Oregon been tearing it up down there?)
I get that it's not a great football destination. It's also true that Stanford's combination of academics and sports is hard to beat. It's a great school.
Cal has its charms, though. The Berkeley atmosphere (last I checked, anyway) is very different from the Stanford atmosphere (ditto) when town and campus are considered.
I take you you’ve never been to Palo Alto or Berkeley. One is cool and hip and the other is Palo Alto.
I wouldn't be opposed to going to Cal if I had the opportunity. It's a great area.
I was at Cal contemporaneously with Aaron Rogers and marshawn lynch. It was awesome.
I was at Butte College where Aaron Rodgers went to college. Never heard of this Aaron Rogers guy.
Take it up with my spell check. I hope you smoked some bowls at butte.
Dude, I live 20 mins from the Butte campus. Great JC program.
Yeah, Palo Alto is pretty in a sterile, country club sort of way. Berkeley is basically Ann Arbor with pretty mountains and better weather.
And even more expensive housing, if you can imagine it.
Easily imaginable. Way different worlds. Pretty sure scholarship athletes aren’t worried about rent (I hope).
Where oh, where could the great Mazien be. Is he not at least a student ghetto slum lord of his mother’s basement. Where are you, our great knowledgeable savior?
He texted me. He said the kid isn’t even top 100. 4.67 is too slow and isn’t fast enough to beat OSU.

As beautiful as all of the photos of Stanford look on TV it really is a boring campus and town.
It may be as simple as he couldn't get into Stanford (or was waiting on acceptance). Think of the guys who have committed to us, then flipped when they were admitted to Stanford. Devery Hamilton and Steve Herron come to mind.
I have no inside info, but doesn't Cal run a 4-5 wide pass happy offense and Stanford run a more pro set. You do state a valid point, but I would think there are many more variables to consider. And it is not like a Cal education is chop liver either.....
I like what Justin Wilcox is building at Cal, honestly.
On defense, yes. Offense is a work in progress, to be generous.
Cal has had some dynamic playmakers. Hopefully he comes to UM.
Him, Markus Allen and Xavier Worthy would be a good wr haul
My guess is we won’t hear from the sociopath today then.
It’s hard to predict when WD will chime in.
He’s actually not the sociopath in this blog. Look deeper, Einstein!
I was joking dipshit.
Wow well you’re slightly activated. I could care less. Like I always say if you can’t take a joke, try not to tell one. Nothing is that serious in here. I suppose you’re actually Einstein?
You could care less? So you DO care then?
You should care less. Mouth diarrhea isn’t a joke because you say so.
There’s a reason for real comedy. Mouth diarrhea can be controlled. Although your career is limited, “your crap is enlarged in Toboggan’s world!”
Your continuously nonsensical posting in the only slightly humorous thing about you. At least you acknowledge your penchant for spewing stupid shit.
Self-quarantining is directly affecting you. If you feel that your Harold Lloyd routine is humorous then continue it after the storm. This sports blog is creating lots of new characters. Thus, your comments are less contagious and simply self amoral. Congrats and +1 for your continued successes. I Lol’d!!!
Your posts are a cry for help. I hope you get it.
I LOLed
I'll give it a try.
This recruitment still does not help all the issues on the defensive side of the ball. All the defensive coaches are terrible recruiters. OSU probably has 4 commits from WRs with ranked higher than Dixon. Because our defensive recruiting is so bad, those 4 higher rated WRs will put up 78 points per game on Don Brown (who only recruits low 3*s from Boston College territory). Oh, and Dixon's 247 rating is lower than the composite...he is barely a 4-star according to them. Harbaugh getting paid $8M per year should bring much better recruits than this - he recruits like he is at Iowa State.
Does that work?
It's a start. You should post some variation of that about twenty more times in this thread. Insist that you're the only person who's reality-based.
Ah yes. You fan boys have no idea of reality.
I also forgot to add that Urban Meyer says that recruiting is by far the most important aspect of coaching....more so than player development, game planning, and everything. If you are not an exceptional recruiter, you cannot coach at OSU. Also, PJ Fleck would be a far, far superior recruiter at Michigan than Harbaugh.
I'm sure I'm missing something else.
You need to mention that brown and two of the other defensive coaches suck and recruiting.
There needs to be a yikes somewhere, and a random cutoff of the Top 247 at 106.
You need to mention that we are at a Rich Rod level of recruiting.
MSU level.
"I can't believe that you guys are fine losing to Ohio State, I will NOT stand for it."
For sure need the random P.J. fleck throw in, really ties the impersonation together
The kid is a .9275 4* on the composite and would be our 3rd highest ranked recruit and you’re complaining because he is only a low 4 star on 247?
Um, whoosh.
