We all saw how good Sabb was at the end when Johnson was hurt. They clearly preferred Johnson all year as the third safety, who played a ton…and played very well. This would be huge. Maybe they put Rod at nickel and have Johnson as full time safety.
For him to not even wait and see who his position coach would be before spurning the defending national champions, tells you how not serious this kid is.
I’m actively rooting against the Chargers. Especially alter JH was dumb enough to say that they are going to be Michigan west, and we are all in this together. Like someone like me a diehard UM fan since 1989, is gonna be rooting for the GD Chargers just because they have our former coaches who abandoned us.
He should come back for another year. I would say this if I was his dad and he played for a different team, and wanted to give him advice. I don’t see how he is a first round pick. He isn’t an impact three down edge player now. They seem to prefer Harrell more on first and second down. Earlier in the year he was hardly playing. I don’t know any edge for us who is ready to go their first year of starting and he is no exception. I think he’s a project as a situational pass rusher in the NFL and I don’t see how Kiper and McShay don’t see this. I’m not trashing the kid he has a ton of potential, just needs one more year.
Also I know you have a really hard time with numbers and basic math (might be a good time to work on that during the lockdown), but Giles Jackson and Mike Sainristil are both shorter than Ronnie Bell. It’s getting hard even finding all your mistakes.
Hahaha so you have an excuse for all of these guys except for Ronnie Bell? It’s not his fault that he ended up being more productive than DPJ and Tarik who get a pass from you for some reason.
BTW Brian Cole played receiver at Michiganhis freshman year.
Canteen was a four star on 247 Composite.
Grant Perry was the most reliable receiver on the team his senior year. Who cares if he played in the NFL?
So we should never take a 3 star receiver then because they aren’t going to be Braylon or Manningham? Braylon wasn’t highly rated. For a guy who only counts stars, you’re not so good at it. You do realize that there are 85 scholarships and you need to build a team with multiple receivers who do different things. “Semi productive” as you say for Ronnie Bell who was the leading receiver on the team last year.
You don’t want Ronnie Bell or Grant Perry on the team. But you will take Brian Cole, Kekoa Crawford, Oliver Martin, Drake Harris, and Freddie Canteen because they are 4 stars?

I check Mgoblog every day multiple times but I may not anymore. Around half of Mgoblog fans at least lean to the right...do they know this?
Robbie Reid definitely deserves to be on the list. Austin Panter didn’t even play so I have no idea how he is honorable mention. He forgot Russell Shaw who was a good receiver and I’m pretty sure a JUCO transfer.
